Club Wyndham Old Town Alexandria

This place is a scam! Do NOT book here! It's some kind of timeshare thing and they downgrade you right before you get there. At least the staff was able to help reloalcate us to another hotel. Stay away from the Extra Holidays company. They try to hide under the Wyndham name. Extra Holidays is a scam company

The bedroom was really good and the location was excellent I was surprised that they only required the id of the person who did the reservation and not to the other’s guests. Also, the staff weren’t so clear to explain offers to the clients

Good location convenient to Metro and free Circulator

This ‘hotel’ cancels any ‘non members’ in favour of members. They do not warn you about this. Just terrible.

Spacious, clean 2 bedroom suite. Friendly staff. Quiet location but also very close to Metro and everything in Old Town. Time share presentation was less high pressure than most.

Awesome staff. Helpful and respectful. The room is luxurious too. 20/night parking but that's pretty normal for this area. Pretty good garage with direct elevator access. Overall a great experience. They'll try to ease you into a session for their timeshare program.

Location, free parking, and huge rooms

We were in a handicapped room (did not request), when asked if we could be moved they did so and upgraded us Put in a handicapped very small room, we were a party of two only set of towels for one Amtrak and metro outside room, very disturbing

Overall the property is nice however there are some signs of age. The elevator to the parking garage was out of order during my stay which meant going up and down 2 or 3 floors. Not a big deal, but a small inconvenience. Also while my room was clean, it was musty. It smelled like there has been a lot of cooking in the kitchen and the kitchen odors have gotten into the furniture and carpet. It needs freshening up. Otherwise it was perfect.

they overbooked and didnt tell me they didn't have a room for me until 1 night before the reservation. i was stuck in the airport for a night because nothing was available anywhere.

Close to old town - at the top of King St. Close to Metro. Was clean. Staff nice. Since not a member tried to get me to go to a Wyndham promo talk. I declined and that was all. No more pressure. The unit was very clean. However the furniture had a few dings and bathroom tile looked a bit old.

Location We liked everything

The property is conveniently located near the metro and the free trolly that runs un and down the street. It is very close to the trail though, so that might bother some people, if you're not used to loud noises. Club Wyndham does have timeshares/ownership programs, so they will try and convince you to buy into those programs.

Large room in a comfortable apartment. Excellent quality/price ratio. At walking distance from downtown. Close to the metro railway, hence some noise disturbance. Not too uncomfortable though as there are very few metro trains at night.

Great online I never saw the property. Booked 3 months in advance and was canceled when I landed. Had a party of 5.. . Three were disabled.

It was a perfect location with easy in and out parking garage next to hotel. The room exceeded our expectations actually being larger than our son’s apartment!

Staff was very helpful. Llamat at front desk was courteous and gave me great advice on where to eat and directions to the conference I was attending in town.
