Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria Old Town

This property is under construction but the amenities and room sizes were worth it to our family of five. Made to order omelets each morning are included with the breakfast. It was so good and a welcome surprise. The complimentary evening cocktail hour was also nice with adult beverages and snacks for the kids. The proximity to the Metro is perfect for getting in/out of DC. The pool area is older and just okay. The work out facilities were nice. This was a bargain and we will stay here again!

Our room was not great, bed lights and tv didn’t work and there was no extra toilet paper or Kleenex. We stay at Embassy Suites quite often because of the size of our family and this particular time was NOT good

The staff wasn’t very helpful. The parking garage did not fit our vehicle.

We had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites in Alexandria! Even though the hotel was under renovation, everything was well organized and the staff did a great job making sure guests were comfortable. Our room was clean, the service was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The renovations did not negatively impact our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Not as nice as it used to be, but convenient to the metro.

The hotel was pretty clean. The lack of amenities surprised me. They didn't have anything extra (i.e., makeup remover wipes or any of the normal amenities usually available in a hotel). We stayed for 5 nights as a family, and there was no room service available; the only food available was during certain times in the atrium. The nightly reception was nice, but very bottom-shelf options and 5:30-7 pm. We were gone all day most days, and there were two days that, as soon as we got back, housekeeping knocked to clean. The one day they left and just left towels, and the second time it happened, I told them to come back because we had just gotten back and that this had happened before. They did, and that was fine. I think for the amount that we paid, the construction going on, and the time we spent there, I expected more perks, to be honest. It was an okay experience, but not my usual level of expectations that I have for a hotel stay.

Clean room , breakfast was average.hotel was in.the middle of rebuilding with some of the area was closed off.fountain in the middle was inoperable .

The breakfast was really good. Loved the options given. Although I don't drink, offering free drink tickets are nice. I didn't like the fact that I wasn't informed of the construction being done inside the hotel prior to arrival

It was a good location. It is being remodeled so some rooms are not remodeled. Mines was not but I was still comfortable.

Great breakfast; very convenient to metro train station and restaurants.

It’s a very nice hotel but is currently under remodeling and is a little out of sorts at the front desk, bar and breakfast areas. A lot of the chairs in the breakfast/lounge area were ripped and very low to sit on. We always like our studio type room. The service is always good, very caring people! We will come back.

Some remodeling going on, but they made the best of it. A large screen for the soccer games, snacks and complimentary adult beverages were a nice touch. Good breakfast, good coffee.

Location is exceptional, loved the size of the room Shower diverter did not pull up all the way. Water pressure affected. This was not a very big deal at all.

Convenient to MGM Grand and the train station No upgrades available

Hotel was located right in front of the metro. Perfect for those wanting to use this type of transportation. Breakfast was good and a lot of options. friendly staff members. The rooms were a bit older, furniture looked old, but overall good. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was clean. I would recommend it.

The air conditioning in our room did not cool well. There was a lot of construction in the lobby. The evening mingle which included 2 drinks was wonderful. Breakfast was great. The check-in time is 4 P.M. Expedia documents showed 3 P.M. I spoke with the front desk when we arrived and was told to come back at 2. It ended up being 4 when the room was ready. Everyone was very friendly. However, it was not quite the exceptional experience that I am used to when staying at Embassy Suites.

The contruction

Great location The security guard leaves a chair in the hallway. it’s was around the corner and both myself, and my mother walked into it, bruising our knees. No major injury, but they need to be careful about where they place chairs in the walk way. Egress.!!

The breakfast was nice and bed comfortable. It was a last minute reservation. The room smelled a little stuffy and we drove a SUV and the parking deck was horrible.

Breakfast is excellent Didn’t know about the Construction while we was staying there !
