Residence Inn Alexandria Old Town/Duke Street by Marriott

It was very clean. The room was spacious and the breakfast was great. I appreciated the parking and shuttle service.

They gave us a gift bag for our anniversary- very nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Alexandria, the rooms were spacious, clean and had a small kitchen if needed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Great amenities like the gym and covered parking, good breakfast with different options, very well located close to supermarkets and Old Town, and loved that we had access to a shuttle taking us to Old Town in case we didn’t feel like walking. I will definitively stay here again, totally recommended!

issue with the TV but it was quickly resolved. The continental breakfast was good and they have room service as well. I would most definitely return in the future.

Bedbugs, spiders, and roaches!!!

It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice. I loved the bacon and croissants. Parking is tight and a little tricky if you are not used to a small garage.

I have been going to this hotel for over 10 years. The location is key and I love the old town of Alexandria I have been going to this hotel for over ten years and for the first time, did not feel super welcomed by the staff. The rooms were musty smelling. The pull out sofa was broken and all sunken in. The breakfast was below expectations. I don't know if it's new owner's but not sure I will continue to go back there when I visit Alexandria. It's really sad because the location is amazing. The hotel was still decent but since I Have had such great experience over the past 10 years, it was sad to see some decline with the hotel staff and amenities.

Closest to metro. The places smells of dogs. They allowed all types of pets in addition to service dogs and all rooms and hallways have carpet. The price of this hotel in no longer worth the value unless they remove this old carpet throughout the hotel or place guest with pets in rooms without carpet. The quality has definitely gone down along with customer service. Looking for another hotel in future to stay with in that area.

It’s in the perfect location. Close to King St. for the shops and restaurants. Also the Metro station was only a few blocks away. Hotel offered a free shuttle service within a 1 mile radius. Parking on site and very secure. The rooms were big for a studio room. We did not use the full kitchen but having a large refrigerator and microwave helps, especially since we bought food from Whole Foods, which was a block away.

I went with my family, and we stayed 10 nights. Throughout the stay, we had no problem. All the staff have been very friendly. The breakfast was very good. The area is very quiet. Of course, when we return to Alexandria, we will stay there again.

Room was comfortable, bed was comfortable....it was quiet. Walking distance for the metro and Old Town Alexandria. Free shuttle for anywhere within 1 mile. Breakfast was meh...the "hot" foods were cold. Parking a car was $50 per night, but it was secure parking

The staff. They were pleasant and always smiling. They were very helpful, courteous and very friendly. They anticipated your needs and went out of their way to help. We traveled a lot in Canada and Ameuca. This hotel by far has the best staff. A house manager named Frankie led by example and exemplified outstanding customer service. This is Marriotts better hotels. No airport shuttle
