Residence Inn Alexandria Old Town/Duke Street by Marriott

Room was comfortable, bed was comfortable....it was quiet. Walking distance for the metro and Old Town Alexandria. Free shuttle for anywhere within 1 mile. Breakfast was meh...the "hot" foods were cold. Parking a car was $50 per night, but it was secure parking

The staff. They were pleasant and always smiling. They were very helpful, courteous and very friendly. They anticipated your needs and went out of their way to help. We traveled a lot in Canada and Ameuca. This hotel by far has the best staff. A house manager named Frankie led by example and exemplified outstanding customer service. This is Marriotts better hotels. No airport shuttle

My stay at the Residence Inn in Alexandria was first class. The rooms were spotless and the staff excellent. It was in a great location, everywhere walkable. I would definitely return.

Great location. Short walk to the Metro, CVS, Whole Foods and restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood. Laundry on site. Our room was clean, updated and comfortable with all the dishes we could need for a 4 night stay. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and they offered egg whites and turkey sausage too. There is a small grocery in the lobby with all sorts of snacks, beverages and freezer meals. They were out of laundry soap so we went to CVS so no big deal. We will stay here for any and all DC visits!! Be sure to check Metro times at King Station if you need to travel anywhere early. Highly recommend!

Everything was wonderful—both the breakfast and room and the location.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, room was spacious. Kitchen is a real plus for longer stays. Shuttle on demand is nice even if it only covers 1 mile radius. Dated facilities, could use some upgrades. Breakfast was ok, but could be improved. Parking too expensive, cheaper alternatives nearby. An airport shuttle would have been nice.
