Courtyard by Marriott Amarillo Downtown

Superb

It’s a converted hotel from another business so the room configuration is odd. My room was big but my restroom was small

Snacks and beverages were a little expensive but overall a great experience.

I love the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Amarillo, Texas. The parking garage is right next to the hotel and allows entrance to the elevators without going by the front desk. Courtyard Marriott is charging for parking which is not something I remember from previous stays. A wonderful Mexican restaurant is right across the street. A pool is not available at this hotel, but I was exhausted from overnight camping at a state park the previous night.

Two six buck bottle waters on the counter that you shouldn’t have to pay for to have good tasting coffee. The coffee maker didn’t work at all. For the price we paid for the room we did not get what we paid for.

The hotel was beautiful! Room was clean and staff were incredibly friendly! We were able to get parking right on time he street with no issues! We will be back!

In a great location on the main strip downtown in Amarillo. Close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Beautiful lovingly renovated historic skyscraper with fantastic views. Easy parking (paid). Nice, happy, helpful staff. The room was large, well appointed, and comfortable.

Nice location. Everything was nicely maintained. That said, you still have to pay to park each day and there’s no pool. Didn’t try the restaurant.

Room was dirty and noisy. (Some kind of compressor or motor sound constantly humming from the bathroom walls) Pillows and bedding leave a lot to be desired. Staff was friendly enough but it's tough sledding if you're looking for a nice place to stay in Amarillo.

Temperature was 80 degrees when I checked into the room and the A/C brought the temperature down to about 78.

Jessica was great!

We reserved 2 rooms. The AC in the 1st room went out and they were able to accommodate and swap rooms. In the other room the AC felt like a swamp cooler (humid). The AC also blew straight onto the bed full force all night but it was never actually cool.
