The lights were not restored by the time we checked out in the morning, but the staff reduced our room rate and provided a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. This was handled well by the staff and our overall stay was enjoyable.

The design and ambiance is so well done it could be in Architectural Digest. Spectacular!

Great Hotel. Clean, friendly staff, and a bonus Speakeasy.

The Valet who welcomed us to the hotel was awesome! Very helpful and friendly. We saw him the next day as we were checking out and he remembered our name and was again, friendly and helpful. The employee who checked us in, however, was another story. She gave us a 2nd floor room by a maintenance/staff room/closet which was very noisy. She seemed annoyed with us because we had booked the room through a 3rd party (Hotels.com) and we felt that was why we received a less than desirable room with the hotel not being very busy. I would have asked for a different room but we were hungry and tired after an 8 hour drive. The hotel is beautiful and most of the staff we came in contact with were friendly and professional. The front desk staff was the only employee who was disappointing.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and Angel at the speakeasy bar was phenomenal!

Great building and location. Rooms are excellent. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Ample parking on street or at carpark across the road uncovered with a covered on the opposite corner. No ice machines on the floors. You have to ask the bar but it’s a small inconvenience.

The Toscana Italian Steakhouse was only average. Not as good as it was as the last time we stayed at the Barfield and ate there.

Exception. Love how pet friendly it was and the Paramount bar was super exclusive and top notch.

Exceptional

Super cool boutique hotel right in town. Didn’t need to go far with a great bar and restaurant on site, as well as a hidden speakeasy for a late night drink! It ended up being a fun place to stop on our long road trip…and the rates were pretty decent!

It was beautiful and the staff were very attentive to every need. I love the furniture in the room and the decor.
