Fresh paint would be good and new bath tiles. There were no glasses in the room to get a drink of water. No usb ports for charging. No clock, only one outlet. With all the other options in the area to stay I would choose them. Did not have the same atmosphere we were Use to from AmerInn

My family and I got to stay with them for an extended time waiting for our house to be finished. Awesome place, great people , couldn’t suggest it enough. Very clean, awesome staff. Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was well done, rooms were very clean. Best place in Ames to stay.

This hotel was surprisingly pleasant! It was clean and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub area were exceptional, very clean, great hot tub, and lots of fun for the kids after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good. Coffee could use improvement, ha. But otherwise a nice stay. Room was spacious and had everything we needed.

We were the only ones in the hotel for our stay. This is an old property but was clean for the age of it. Breakfast was sparse but to be expected I guess since we were the only ones there.

Great place! Staff was incredibly friendly. Everything as described!

Clean Rooms, awesome pool area

The staff was friendly and quick to answer questions. It was in a safe area with quick access to Ames and Iowa State campus. The room and shared spaces were clean. The room had blackout curtains that did their job well. The air-conditioning was easy to adjust in the room and was not noisy. Our room had a microwave and fridge that were very clean and functional. Outdoors had tidy landscaping. There were generously spaced parking spaces with good lighting at night. An overall cheery and positive place to stay. Check in and check out were simple and prompt. No issues with our multi-day stay. I would stay there again without hesitation.

I loved everything about my stay. It made my visit with my son so much more enjoyable.

Nice pool and hot tub area.

Was in town for the night. Hotel was very clean, staff was pleasant and helpful, and price was very reasonable. Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had at a hotel breakfast bar too.

Hot tub & pool area smelled very musty.

Staff was very nice. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. This is a good travel hotel with a breakfast buffet. Exactly what I was looking for during my trip.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, my son loved the pool and we enjoyed the hot tub. Waffles, sausage, eggs and others for breakfast, we couldn't have had a better stay!

The gentlemen at the front desk was amazing! He was so nice and helpful. He answered our questions and never complained or seemed annoyed. He would chat with us while we were outside before winding down for the night. Also the free breakfast was amazing!!
