Good!

Building was old, and needs upgrades. Bath was gross, hotel was not using A/C in Building.

Honestly we were a little sketchy when we pulled up, as the outside looked a bit shady but once we got inside everything was fine. We could tell some renovations were in process. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. The outside could use some updating.

I enjoyed the general smell of the place. It smelled nice everywhere I went. I wish the breakfast had sausages and eggs.

I don’t know if they’re renovating or what but very uninviting property. Guy at the front desk when I had to check out early was rude when I told him about issues with the room. Friends room across the hall smelled musty like water damage.

This hotel was bare-bones and appeared to be either undergoing renovation or parts of it were very tired. I’m used to staying in a little nicer place, but it was clean, the air-conditioning worked, the bed was comfortable and I was able to get a good night, sleep at a very affordable price. It covered the basics, but was certainly not my dream location.

Nice place to stay
-
We needed a place to stay and this was one of our only options. Google Maps took us right there but we'd never know it was the correct location because there wasn't a sign. It used to be a Baymont hotel but it's changed to a Park Inn. There were only 4 cars in the parking lot so we were very hesitant. Don't judge a book by it's cover! Yes, they are under construction but our room was super clean and there were no funky smells. The shower head had the best pressure ever! I recommend if you just need a place to sleep and it's way cheaper than the others...especially for Iowa State football games, etc. We didn't eat their continental breakfast.

It appears to be under renovation but don't let that deter you. Great staff. Best deal for the date I was in town. Best hotel bed I've had in a while. I'll certainly book again the next time I'm in town.

Nice stay
-
When I pulled up to motel I could see mattresses, boxes and other objects pushed up to windows. No other cars in parking lot. When googled address said 'PERMANENTLY CLOSED'. I didn't even stay!
-
Close to interstate and farm store.

Pretty simple and good stay!

The hotel was located in an area of town with several other hotels, so it felt like the "place to be". The hotel was also near the university, making it easy to visit. The breakfast was decent insofar as can be expected (e.g., cereal, mini doughnuts, bananas, instant oatmeal, yogurt, toast with butter or peanut butter). The hotel was being renovated, so the pool was filled with boxes from wall to wall. In the morning, I realized that many of the rooms were empty and in need of repair, which is just what the team of workers in the morning came to start attending to.

Pool CLOSED. Wi-Fi Not available. Breakfast not worth the time.

Worked for what I needed, which was a few hours of sleep. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was simple but helpful and got me on my way.
