Comfortable. Good staff. Quite run down. Many doors to the rooms were warped.

For a quick stay in Ames it's perfect. I was concerned initially because of the ratings, but gave it a chance anyway. The staff I came in contact with were welcoming and helpful! The front desk gentleman was very attentive and friendly! There was a lady that worked the breakfast stations (I didn't catch her name) she was absolutely wonderful, personable and sweet. The rooms were very simple (not fancy), but clean (and I look at everything!!!) As a single female traveler I felt very safe there. The breakfast was great! Lots of choices available! I would definitely stay again.

Basically a lower version of Hampton inn. Sheets weren’t clean and no glass. All plastic. Not very well maintained

This hotel is great you’re just looking for a decent place to lay your head for the night. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean and comfortable while being close to everything in Ames.

water pressure in the sink was so low could not rinse anything off. breakfast such as it was with the rubber reconstitute eggs and fatty sausage was already gone and not replenished by 9:00am.

Sheets smelt clean looked kinda grubby/ dirty looking. Bathroom was nice till you took a shower, blood stains an snot on the inside of the shower curtain. Breakfast was kinda bleak.

Solid choice for a hotel in the MSP area. Close to the highway, room was as expected, breakfast was very nice for the pricepoint of the hotel. We would stay again.

Shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles was empty. Bed a lot noises and you even putting the knee can feel the springs. Shower curtain dirty or w black spot. Bed sheets with old blood stains visible on the top. Room needs upgrade.
