I initially booked a different hotel but switched to Hilton in Anchorage even though it was more pricey (at $500/night), I honestly thought we would have better, nicer accommodations. Sadly, this was the worst experience we’ve had staying at a Hilton. First, our room 901, as soon as we entered, smelled so bad. I notified guest services and they said the best they can do was to spray our room with air freshener which did not last long. Imagine staying in a room with foul odor. I was told the hotel was completely booked they were unable to switch our room, In addition, our toilet had such bad stain it looked like it was never cleaned. Again reached out to guest services and they did send someone to clean but stain could not be removed. It was completely disgusting. My mom once again spoke to guest services about our issues, upon our check out, but until now we have not heard back from anyone at the Hilton. Overall I would not recommend staying at Hilton in Anchorage

The linen doesn’t smell fresh. Looks fancy their breakfast area is fancy.

Close to train station.

Not what I expected for the price. Musky smell, old carpet and wall paper. Not recommended unless you need to be in downtown for business.

Noticed a lot of guests were airline staff, perhaps repeat customers that know the hotel very well and it is assumed that every one else does as well.

But price is super high

Staff was Pleasant and Professional. Our room was Fantastic!

i like the location of this hotel, and staff is friendly and will do things to help, view is great and its close to the 5th avenue mall. i dont like that they charge for the parking lot and its not even undersurveilance and its expensive and also you have to walk far to your car, the elevators are super slow and old and take forever to get to your floor

The front desk staff spoke rudely and our floor and room smelled like mold. There were visible stains all walls and black mold in the shower. Definitely don’t stay here!

Location Very expensive A/C in room was broken Poor choice for $500 a day

Location was perfect for walking around Anchorage for restaurants Room service was quite slow. We traveled with an infant, so we wish that had been faster than two hours

Not impressed. Couldn’t get room cleaned on second day but third day the housekeeping staff banging on the door at 8! Front desk called the room before 10 and hung up! Check out was supposed to be 11! Leak in the lobby (water?) for 3 days. Not typical Hilton.

Everything was great except the heat was on and we couldn’t turn it off. The room got very warm.

Checked in at 2am only to find someone had used the room prior to our arrival. Bedding and pillow on one bed was clearly used, tv and lights were on, wine in glass and food trash were left in room. Front desk employee brushed off complaint and did not follow up. We made a second attempt to bring issue to hotel management's attention and spoke with the Front Desk Supervisor. She seemed to care but then never followed up with us after promising to.

Then the room was very stuffy and it smelled like it had mold. The bed was ill-made and if felt like the sheets were not clean. Clearly I was a full refund and this was a horrible experience. Specially after traveling for 20 straight hours to get to Anchorage.
