Would have liked a bathrobe in the room.
-
Beds and pillow are terrible. The barroom light had some dead lightbulbs.

Room not quite up to other Hilton stays, and the price is excessive for the area, location and quality. Rooms were good, breakfast was pretty expensive for a buffet, but was very good. For a Hilton the staff was oblivious to the cruise travels that frequent the hotel. They had zero knowledge of the buses that pull up to the hotel, so the classic answer to everything was they did not know. We would stay again if the price was right.

Breakfast was amazing. Our room was too hot. There was a stick fan in the room. But it was still very warm. We had a very small room too. We could not even pass from one side to the window if someone was standing at the end of the bed! No refrigerator. That was disappointing. We kind of expected a more deluxe room since we paid $600 a night for 5 nights. Great bed, showers were amazing. Every single hotel employee was pleasant and friendly. The elevator was very fast, noted because it’s annoying when it isn’t!

When we were finally given a room, we went inside and shortly afterward another guest entered and said that the same room had also been assigned to them. We had to return to the front desk and, after another delay and inconvenience, were given a different room. Unfortunately, the bathroom in the new room did not have a ventilation fan, and there were black stains along the lower corners of the bathroom walls. I am not sure whether they were mold or something else, but this was concerning and did not seem acceptable for a hotel room.

On the positive side, the shower was great.

The buffet was very limited on what was offered for the price. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom was not what I expected from Hilton.

I initially booked a different hotel but switched to Hilton in Anchorage even though it was more pricey (at $500/night), I honestly thought we would have better, nicer accommodations. Sadly, this was the worst experience we’ve had staying at a Hilton. First, our room 901, as soon as we entered, smelled so bad. I notified guest services and they said the best they can do was to spray our room with air freshener which did not last long. Imagine staying in a room with foul odor. I was told the hotel was completely booked they were unable to switch our room, In addition, our toilet had such bad stain it looked like it was never cleaned. Again reached out to guest services and they did send someone to clean but stain could not be removed. It was completely disgusting. My mom once again spoke to guest services about our issues, upon our check out, but until now we have not heard back from anyone at the Hilton. Overall I would not recommend staying at Hilton in Anchorage

Easy to access all of the city front desk-someone was a little difficult to deal with

The linen doesn’t smell fresh. Looks fancy their breakfast area is fancy.
-
Close to train station.

Very good

Not what I expected for the price. Musky smell, old carpet and wall paper. Not recommended unless you need to be in downtown for business.

Good

Noticed a lot of guests were airline staff, perhaps repeat customers that know the hotel very well and it is assumed that every one else does as well.
-
But price is super high
