Nice room, friendly staff
-
Great location, affordable, most staff was friendly. Dirty room (hair and toenail clippings all over).
-
Great place. Can’t wait to stay there again.
-
Very dated room and furnishings. Adequate
-
Older hotel needed some updates
-
Bathroom wasn't as scrubbed up as it should have been. Very dated so it should have been cheaper to stay there. I didn't like that parking was an additional $40 per day. That was a rip off.

Breakfast was a bit skimpy but ok. Parking was close but expensive. Praying so much for parking.
-
An okay place to sleep and move on.

Church was nearby which was excellent. Good Place and nice people. From Australia 5 October 2025

Was able to walk there from the train station. Easy to explore downtown Anchorage. Walking distance to main attractions. Breakfast was good.

Stayed here for one night prior to taking the train to Whittier for a cruise. The location is great, the hotel is fine, but I thought the staff was great. Very personable and eager to help

There's no parking other than maybe 8 spots so you have to pay a random third party company $40 a day to park. It's also surrounded by homeless people who you can hear screaming/fighting all night. There's no restaurant or bar in the hotel (despite being advertised) so be prepared to eat somewhere else. When we checked in our sheets had blood and hair on them. The person working the front desk just dropped off a "clean" set of sheets, that we had to change ourselves. Stay somewhere else

The location is ideal, especially the proximity to two great restaurants. The breakfast ideally would include hard boiled eggs and Raisin Bran cereal for the health conscious. The breakfast

Do not stay here! Our room was filthy and smelled very bad, it had not been cleaned. The toilet seat and back of the toilet seat were covered in hair. The bathroom counter had old toothpaste dried all over it, the floor did not look like it had been vacuumed and in the morning when we could see better we found a pile of toenails on the carpet. The door handle hung from the door. We also passed other rooms where the door didn’t line up and there was a crack around the door. The hallways also looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed and there were big bags of garbage in the halls and there were “security guards” roaming our halls at midnight but they made it feel less safe, I don’t know how to explain that. The man working the night shift was super rude and putting down on the other front desk employees, it was awkward and weird. The lobby was also dirty and needed vacuumed, maybe their vacuum broke, I don’t know. We had planned on two nights here and couldn’t wait to get out after our first night, we checked out asap after the first night. The other employees during the day shift were all nice, that was the only positive about this hotel.

Stayed 3 nights total at the beginning and end of our Alaska trip via Anchorage. The location can't be beat for exploring Anchorage and dining. The room was comfortable and the front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. The free breakfast is very basic - no hot food although there is a toaster for bread and bagels, however they ran out of bagels one of the days we were there.

The only thing that was good was the location. Otherwise asked for a fridge and microwave they brought them you could hardly open the fridge and they couldn’t plug the microwave in. The plug ins did not look safe, they were loose and wobbly covers. Also was gone for one night and asked for room to be cleaned. Got back next day and never was touched. They have know restaurant there and breakfast doesn’t have much to offer for diabetics.
