The person that checked me was super dry and seemed to have an attitude while checking me in. The pool itself was so dirty and the water was not super clear, instead it was a bit cloudy. The shower in the pool looked disgusting and had the inside of a wet diaper all spread through the front of it where the mat was. Bathroom could have been more clean in our room. The floor in the bathroom had a dark black mark on the floor that would come off if house keepers took time to clean the room because I started to take it off with a wipe. The shower was okay, since the shower wall does not get cleaned either apparently due to it having some residue from whoever was in that room beforehand. The carpet in the room does not get vacuumed since we had mulch in our room as soon as we checked in and hadn’t even stepped foot on the porch area.

The property was nice, convenient to downtown and the highway and clean. Also appreciated availability of Starbucks counter in the lobby. My only complaint is that my husband and I were separated in travel, and I had the reservation in my name. He arrived before I and because the reservation was not in his name, the receptionist wouldn't even consider allowing him to check in - even by confirming his last name and address are the same on his license. And, she was particularly snippy and complained about 3rd party reservations. This was disappointing. He and my daughter had to wait a couple hours for me to arrive and check us in. The receptionist in the afternoon was lovely and helpful. Not so much with the earlier receptionist. Otherwise, I would certainly stay here again.

Hair in the shower and gross stains on the toilet

Bed was very comfortable Breakfast was supposed to be complimentary but had to pay for that plus $10. Daily parking
-
I did not like having to pay additional fee for parking. Ten dollars is not a lot of money, however I don’t understand why guests have to incur another charge.

The property also ran out of towels for the room and pool area on Sunday. The whirlpool has a leak and had to be filled while I was in it. Lastly, if you stay on the first floor, you'll have to go to the second floor for ice. the property is about 5.1 miles from downtown Annapolis.

We also discovered that the sofa bed was broken, and the extra pillow provided for the sofa bed bedding was covered in mold. It had been stored inside a cabinet drawer. I have photos documenting the condition. I immediately went to the front desk to report these issues and requested a room change. Unfortunately, Kim's response was dismissive and uninterested. She simply stated that she could not move us because the hotel was sold out. When I asked if the hotel would be fully booked for our entire stay, she replied, "Yes." I then explained that, given the conditions, I wanted to check out the following day. Her response was, "Fine, but we will not refund your money because you booked through a third party (Booking.com)." As a result, we felt we had no choice but to stay, as we could not afford to lose nearly $1,000. To make the room more tolerable, we purchased Lysol and cooling fans ourselves. I will say that other staff members we encountered during our stay were much friendlier and more helpful. However, the condition of the room and the way our concerns were handled left us very disappointed.

Staff was very helpful. The area was clean. One gripe was the toilet was too short and there were no grab bars in the bathroom. Breakfast choices were very limited, but there are many places to eat nearby. Never got wifi to work.

The pool was nice, but we had to go around a physical therapist in the pool. It looks to be used every day by physical therapist. We could still use pool while she was in with clients.

Great hotel, inside pool and hot tub was the main reason we chose this one and the location being in the middle of the people we were seeing. Wish they had more equipment in the gym but that is all I can say negative about it.
