Friendly staff and a clean room.

The room was clean and staff were nice the hotel is just older and you can feel that in the hallways and rooms. It was a place to stay for the night and we enjoyed it and there were areas that were modernized. Parking was almost $50 a night but the next closet parking was a few blocks unless you wanted to find street parking.

Only issue I had was being locked out my room two nights having to go back and forth to the front desk for assistance. The staff were very nice.

The bed and pillows were quite comfortable, the hotel and rooms were very clean, good toiletries and surprisingly nice soft towels. The staff were nice and professional. A good stay when stranded by fault of JetBlue airlines which did not pick up the tab on this extra expense.

Location was good. Just minutes away from the metro and restaurants. However the room was not clean. The carpet was dirty. We had issues with the tub and we reported it but no one showed up to fix it.

Convenient to Regan National Airport and easy walk to many restaurants/bars/shopping. Also very close to Crystal City Metro for access to downtown. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, hot breakfast was good. Especially enjoyed Bill at the bar in the evenings! The gym was nice, but only one of the three treadmills worked adequately, in that you could adjust the speed, but the incline did not work on it. The other two either wouldn’t turn on, or wouldn’t accelerate later than 1.0. Otherwise the gym amenities were better than most hotels.
