Super clean outside, lobby, and room. Premium location and the parking garage was convenient but seemed awfully expensive at $50 a night. However, that might be a fair market price. The restaurant was shut down for breakfast but the front desk manager was kind enough to offer us a pass to the Club for breakfast on the penthouse floor. I’m grateful for the free breakfast but, TBH, I was a little surprised. The food was fresh but there wasn’t anything offered that an average hotel doesn’t offer. I’m not sure how much more guests pay for access to the Club but it seemed like some people might be underwhelmed. The Illy café is great.

The lounge on the 14th floor provides a great breakfast, dinner, and nightly dessert. Breakfast is cooked in small batches and was delicious. The view of the river and city beyond is quite pleasant.

The restaurant is the best. Awesome hotel.

I gave this hotel a 2 star rating not because of the property itself, but because after my departure I received a notice from my bank that three separate transactions totaling in the amount of $946.34. I spoke to management today and the reasoning was weird, so apparently if you pay to park they have to charge you twice (your stay + taxes and fees) as well as the incidental charge, AND what you originally paid during check in, and get this , they don’t even tell you!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I stayed at this property for a week. The rooms are clean, the vibe is modern cozy, the ameneties are very well kept, the lobby is inviting. The fitness center is large with every equipment you can imagine and there is also a laundry room. The food at the hotel restaurant is delicious and the coffee shop on property is excellent. The front desk staff were personable, flexible and just provided top notch customer service from the time I checked in to when I checked out. They made check-in and out easy and were always greeting guest with a smile and were genuine in wanting guests to have a wonderful stay. Kos and Stephanie at the front desk were particularly wondeful and excellent at their jobs! I will be staying at this hotel everytime I visit VA/DC area. It felt like a home away from home.

Very clean and nice.

The airport shuttle was convenient, and the staff cordial and helpful. We had a spacious king suite that was cleaned daily! The bathrobe was a nice touch as well. Overall, a great hotel!

-
What an incredible value. All the front desk staff we over the top friendly and helpful. Housekeeping met all our requests quickly and with a smile. All this on a super busy 250th independence day weekend! We will be back to stay here soon.

We stayed in the area for a date night and reserved a room here since we stayed here not too long ago. The staff was welcoming and the room was so comfortable. And the coffee shop attached to the hotel is FANTASTIC. We'll definitely stay here again when we decide to come back up Arlington

We arrived at 930pm and even though there were 3 employees at the check in desk only one was checking people in and no one acknowledging our presence. The restaurant on site was closed already AND the room service was also closed. I was informed there’s also no free water in the rooms. Get to our floor and met with urine smell in the hallway! Gross! We get settled in to our room and I realize they put us in the wrong accommodation. We were supposed to have a disability room with a bathtub. However when I call down to inform them i have the wrong room-the man says he will call me back (which took almost an hour) and when they called back they blamed Expedia saying it only tells them a room with accommodations but not whether it’s a tub vs shower room. If that’s the case why wouldn’t you check at check-in?? While the hotel lobby is beautiful the room was dimly lit even with every light turned on; the bathroom had hooks on the wall that were poorly repaired/patched and wobbly. The sealant around the shower was incredibly messy and covered in that pink mold. The curtains are too short for the shower and water went ALL OVER THE BATHROOM FLOOR. The floor is not leveled toward the drain… the towels are super small. I’m a big human so I’m used to standard towels being too small to fully wrap but these were ridiculously too small. And only 2?? Also the lamp next to the bed has ports to charge your phone-both broken/didnt provide charge. Shuttle overpacked-dangerous/rude driver.

We were impressed with the sophisticated look and feel of the hotel. Not opulent, just modern style and class. We will definitely keep the Renaissance in mind when we travel to the area !

Parking Is Either Valet Or Metered In This Area, There's Absolutely No Free Parking. Other Than That It's A Great Hotel
