Hampton Inn & Suites Arroyo Grande/Pismo Beach Area, CA

The road noise was loud from inside the room. We could just hear the traffic cause it’s next to a freeway and a lot of movement next-door. Also breakfast was OK and didn’t have bacon basically just sausage, pancake oatmeal waffle scrambled eggs.

The rooms were good for the price

Our first room had several issues—the air conditioning wasn’t working and the body wash bottle was empty and left on the floor. My husband called the front desk, and the staff were very helpful and quickly moved us to another room, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, when we got to the second room, we found the conditioner bottle on the floor as well, making it seem like housekeeping could pay more attention to detail. When my husband booked the room, he also requested a room closer to the entrance because I’m pregnant. Unfortunately, that request wasn’t accommodated, and we still had a long walk to our room, which was difficult. The staff provided great customer service, but the cleanliness, room maintenance, and attention to guest requests definitely need improvement.

The front desk person (Kayden) was amazing and helpful beautiful hotel everything was excellent!

It was a great stay, with comfortable accommodations for a family of 5.

We had 3 rooms booked total. The ac in all 3 rooms stopped working and there were ants in one of the rooms. They staff offered a maintenance check for the ac and stayed once we checked out they would take care of the ants. I will never nor will my family or friends stay in this hotel again

The ice machine on our floor was out of order. Another guest told me it has been out of order for a year! The mirrored door would not close properly. They only had two suitcase carts on property and guests kept them in their rooms because they knew there wouldn’t be any available in the morning. Staff did not offer to carry bags when there were none available. The card keys stopped working after the first day. Staff said I demagnetized them! I kept them in their paper folder the entire time. All of my credit cards were in the back of my backpack and these cards were in the front. There is no way I demagnetized them. They said checkout was at noon but the cards were “demagnetized” again well before noon. Yeah, sure they were. Staff tried to be helpful but I think their hands were tied. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. However, there appeared to be blood stains on the curtains and an unknown substance on the wall. Some of the furniture was run down.

Hotel was not as clean and maintained as most Hampton Inn. Very disappointing.

The room was clean and loved the hot breakfast ! Close to restaurants. One thing I didn’t like was the noise above our floor. It felt like kids were running around the floor. I hear footsteps all the time and it was kind of annoying. Other than that , everything else was good.

The bed was too hard, the pillows too flat, toilet too low, and the room did not have enough trash cans. The free breakfast was very good and having hot beverages in the lobby 24/7 was very nice.

Great place to stay - friendly staff, comfy beds, clean rooms and property, yummy breakfast, nice pool and Jacuzzi. Plenty of parking and good coffee.

The plumbing in the room barely worked, so we had to use the bathroom in the hallway. Our room was situated under the breakfast room, and the banging around lasted until after 11pm and started at 6am every morning. Other guests on our floor had the same complaint. The staff was uninterested in doing anything about any of it. Won't be staying here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Hotel due to its convenient location, which made it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. The checkout process was quick and efficient, making for a smooth and hassle-free departure. One area for improvement would be the cleanliness of the hotel, as the room and common areas did not appear to be as clean as expected. Additionally, the breakfast service was disappointing, and there were no lactose-free milk options available for my daughter, who is lactose intolerant.
