The floor was sticky and you could tell that it was cleaned with Bleach… it still not cover up the dog smell.

I ordered a none smoking room with two bed as soon as we check in and went to see our room and we opened the door it smelled like straight up cigarettes I thought I was at a casino I did go notify the front desk about it only thing he offered was some air freshener spary it kinda helped but not really then I stepped on to the balcony and the balcony had empty beer bottles and cigarettes butts all over the curtain was also broken to be honest what they charged me is way over priced for the condition of the area and room I will definitely not be going back at all and to top it off went to get ice from the machine and it had and smelled like straight up mold I rate it a over all a 2 outta 5

If you’re looking for a decent budget stay while on the Central Coast, the Aloha Inn is perfectly acceptable. Right off the freeway, close to The Village in AG, and close to a lot of the things people come to CenCal for. The bed was comfortable, there was adequate body wash/shampoo, the fridge and microwave were helpful, and it was generally pretty quiet despite being RIGHT next to the freeway. However, they REALLY need to pay better attention to the cleanliness of the rooms - especially the bathroom. My room’s toilet had clearly not been cleaned, and there were little hairs everywhere. There was residue on the walls, and no good place to hang up your bath towel, which was annoying. I wouldn’t say it was dirty, but it DEFINITELY could use a refresh. Some of the paint was chipped and peeling, and my desk chair was in need of repair. However, I paid a very reasonable amount for the room, so I wasn’t going to be THAT picky. The man at the desk was friendly and efficient, so that was a good thing. Overall, I would stay again, but I sincerely hope they go through the rooms and do a deep clean/repair soon, as I could see it being a big turnoff for some.

You get what you paid for. It was meh nothing spectacular but we were also staying one night so we were not wanting to spend too much since we were basically there just to sleep. I appreciate that the room had a microwave and a refrigerator. The towels looked like they were old and one was stained. The hotel is obviously old. There as an office chair that looked like someone brought in from the street because it was broken and dirty. You can hear the traffic from outside but not crazy loud. We were on the first floor so you can hear the upstairs guests walking around. Overall if I were staying for one night I'd stay here again but if I'm looking for lodging for more than one day because I'm trying to "vacation" this would not be it. I just not willing to pay the $300 a night other hotels were charging since we were really just sleeping here.

No in room coffee machine

This hotel was a bit disappointing after reading the other reviews. The room was very plain - almost felt like a prison cell with cement walls and floors (painted). The room had the bare essentials - no clock, no usable chair, no table even though there was space for one, no coffee or tea, no cups. The one chair in the room had holes in it and looked awful. I used it to put my suitcase on, but not to sit on. Basically, there was a TV and a bed. The bed was comfortable, but the noise from the freeway was so bothersome that I couldn't get to sleep. We had a room that connected to the room next door, and we could hear the dog left in the other room whining and barking. The room itself was clean, but the corridor outside our room and the stairs looked like they hadn't been washed down in years. We only stayed one night, and we canceled our room there for our return trip a few days later and booked somewhere else.

Very good

I got a good night's sleep, very peaceful sound sleep. Even when you're staying longer, they still stop by and grab trash and give fresh towels. Nice place to stay. I really can't complain. I had my emotional support animals that stayed with me. They understood how important service animals can be.

We were there for only one night, so the room served its purpose. We brought our food from dinner and the inside of the fridge was dirty, not gross but it was obvious it hadn’t been wiped/cleaned prior to our arrival. The location was convenient. Besides, it’s Arroyo Grande! What’s not to love. Would I stay here again? Yes.

The rooms aren’t 5 star but was very comfortable bed and clean room. Great for what we needed which was a good place to stay overnight on our road trip. Would stay again.

The rooms are very clean, staff is nice, plenty of parking, AC works great, the pool was clean and refreshing.

Room was very clean. Quality of bedding was good. Everything worked ok. Shower toiletry combo of shampoo,etc. holder needs to be repaired. Price a little high but everything is high now. I would stay there again. coffee maker would be nice.

The room was clean! Easy to find. The property was clean and maintained. I just think they need to be updated. The price was great.

Close to freeway and restaurants. Room was clean but a little dated. Not very busy which was nice.
