Quality Inn & Suites Artesia

Awful stay at this hotel. I have never had this experience before in other hotels I have stayed ,it’s suppose to be a non smoking hotel and the people next to us where smoking marijuana that you could smell in our room, hallway, and lobby. It was awful, my dad suffers from asthma, this is unacceptable. They offered to change room and we did but we could still smell it in our room. Also, the showers were leaking and the floors where all wet awful experience avoid this hotel.

The outdoor pool being out of service was extremely disappointing. The “fitness room” was in poor shape, no water, towels, etc. Our sliding door to the balcony was busted and didn’t open. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

The hotel itself was good. There was nothing wrong with our stay. Additionally, the front desk attendant was just the nicest person. I can’t recall her name, though I wish I could, because I would like to giver her a special shout out. She was so nice as she checked us in, and she even helped us rearrange our itinerary after a last minute change we wanted to make. Thank you!! I believe she was working June 19, 2026.

Realmente la habitación no se sentía limpia. La ropa de cama no estaba limpia, cuando ya fui a dormir el olor que tenía era a cigarrillo. Era como si solo hubieran arreglado la cama con las misma ropa de cama de cliente anterior sin lavarlas. Para completar tenía mosquitos o algo había que pico ambas piernas de mi bebé. Le hablé a laEl hotel no tiene elevador. El lobby tenía olor a limpio pero la habitación no. Me gustó que NO tiene alfombra.

The pool is under construction. There is no elevator. If you don't mind paying a bit more, there are many hotels nearby.

Nice little hotel. Was fairly clean and friendly staff. Only downside is there was no elevator so had to carry luggage up stairs to the 2nd floor.

This is not a newer hotel and not competitive in pricing or amenities with several other hotels in the immediate area. They are making improvements, but this is a new “Quality” sign on a very old hotel. They are replacing the roof and you can tell that some upgrades were done recently to the room and common area. The workout room is decent and the free breakfast was workable (as long as you aren’t looking for any fruit). The pool hasn’t been usable in many years and it looks to be many more before it is ready for use (no spa that I saw). The parking lot is very old and cracked but it is safe. The room was spacious and quiet but they are taking low-flow shower heads to the extreme. Not a bad choice in a pinch, but there are may other solid choices in close proximity that accept pets.
