Sleep Inn Asheville - Biltmore West

The commode did not flush and the desk clerk came up and fixed it. The remote control did not work and it was replaced. Breakfast next morning waffle machine not clean. Not a good experience especially considering the high rating it received when we booked. Makes me wonder about Expedia and their due diligence.

The property is undergoing renovations that are obvious on the exterior walls and hallway but the rooms are very nice and clean . Bathroom is exceptionally clean and new looking . I was very pleased with that as I’m afraid of old looking showers. They did a great job with the modern shower upgrade love it . I will definately book here next time I’m in town…

Nice, clean facility in a good location with most of the usual services for such a place. Wonderful patio with gorgeous view available for breakfast. Desk clerk at check-in was surely, bordering on hostile. No coat hangers in room. No one expects a sumptuous buffet at this type of motel, but this carbohydrate festival was a diabetics nightmare. Please add some boiled eggs, unsweetened yogurt, and unsweetened oatmeal.

The location and beach It was very outdated and dirty plus people off the street kept coming in. The man that worked at the front desk was very rude and rolled his eyes when we asked for towels

Everything but the manager Having to pay $75 for them to wash the sheets and the blankets cause I filled a little something on it they did not even leave a stain

The location was ok and the air unit worked very well. When we opened the door to our room, the air was off so it was stuffy and smelt like someone had smoked marijuana in there every day of its existence. After the air unit was turned on and ran for a bit, the smell got better. The air worked very well. We did not complain or ask for another room because I figured the next wouldn’t be my better. The shower door would not close, so water leaked into the floor. Around midnight, I could the strong smell marijuana for about 30 minutes. It also sounded like there was a party going on above us but I was confused because there was a sign stating the 2nd flood was closed due to renovations.

Great hotel for this rate! Clean, new renovations! The only complaint is the waffle maker didn't cook the waffles properly but that is so minor.

The perk of the hotel was the genuinely warm and helpful staff. When we arrived they were in the middle of a large renovation so the gym was closed off and there was quite a lot of furniture around. The place was a bit old so I am happy they are updating it. It was a good place to stay though and we did have a pleasant time overall.

Location , staff and price No coffee pot in the room no freezer in the fridge no ironing board or iron, no hangers, no drawers and the sink countertop area was way too small. The worst part was the coffee down in the breakfast area. I got the bold which I don’t normally do. It was so watery I could not drink it. I tried several cups and during the day, and it was still tasted the same. Had to go elsewhere to buy coffee.

My only 2 dislikes I had was when we walked into the room it smelled like stale cigarettes despite being a non-smoking room. Guess it was a smoking room at some point. The other dislike is the exhaust fan in the bathroom was disgusting and needed to be cleaned! Other than that, it was good!

Room was clean, bed/pillows super comfy. Hotel was being renovated. Finished rooms looked amazing! Didn’t use any amenities. Only complaint lighting in the sink/mirror area could’ve been better.
