Really nice place to stay. Parking is convenient. The fact that there is a record store and a coffee shop below the hotel is pretty cool.

The bold artistic expression was top tier, clean rooms! I hated to leave this place

Unique Too dark with dark paint

This is a fun, funky place with a kind of post-punk aesthetic with a bougie make-over. The room was extremely clean, with a very comfortable bed, good water pressure, and piping hot water coming out of the shower almost immediately. I liked the attitude all the staff had - very genuinely service-oriented, but in a very casual, friendly way, and a little bit spunky - joking around with you as they answered your questions or took your order or whatever. This pattern of behavior was so consistent across the whole staff that I think it must be part of the training or maybe something they screen for when hiring. Anyway, it helped make the experience of staying there feel distinctive and special. I liked being able to walk out of my room and go down one floor to a terrific, high-end restaurant, or up a couple of floors to a pleasant rooftop bar. There were not enough places to hang clothes and towels in the bathroom. While I loved staying there, it seemed a bit more expensive than the level of facilities and services warranted. There was no pool, for example, and the gym was pretty rudimentary. Some other basic services I usually expect at a hotel at this price point were not available. Wifi was really slow one of the days we stayed there, though it was fine on the other day. While there is a view looking towards the river, it isn't a particularly impressive view. Other hotels in the area offer better views. There is plentiful parking in the area, but the hotel seems to own most of it, even street parking in front of adjacent buildings. It seems a bit wrong to me for them to establish a sort of parking monopoly and charge $18 per day to park anywhere close to the hotel, when it is in the kind of location where parking is plentiful enough that it would normally be free. If they just made the parking free for people staying at the hotel I would feel a lot better about this place as a value proposition.

We had a wonderful staying. We definitely would like to come back again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Lunch was great. Beverages as well, offering a nice selection of custom coffees. Parking was a bit tight. But I was lucky to get an adjacent space because the entrance to the back parking was hard to find.

Room was a little too dark. Upstairs bar needs more food options.

Location was wonderful, staff was also very kind and eager to provide resolution. The beds were horrific, felt like I was sleeping on a 2x4. The roof top bar was beautiful and the staff was amazing there as well. Really enjoyed our stay overall other than the beds.

Clean room, nice staff and parking was cheap. Also good food nearby and at the residence.

Most unique decor. Gorgeous bedroom. Lovely firepits and roof top service. Good location for the art district and just a mile from downtown. They kindly waived the parking fee for us. Too many taxes!!

I like the art of the hotel. I like that you had a a lot of things to do there you can sit on the rooftop. You can sit down in the lobby. You can listen to live music. It was just very very About the parking that was in the front once it fills up, it fills up, but other than that, everything else was great

Interesting interior design!

It was different. And also out of the way from downtown Wasn’t so much the property per se, but Asheville as a whole has gone downhill since I was there years ago. Homeless and people with mental issues all over the place. Reminds me a little of San Francisco, which I used to love but can’t stand now. We won’t visit Asheville again until they clean up the city. Sorry, not a dig on the property but we couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there and get to our mountain cabin.
