Hotel Indigo Asheville Downtown by IHG

Very nice hotel with nice staff in a good location. I was not a fan of the "valet only" parking....just generally do not like when hotels do that. It feels like a way to severely overcharge for parking instead of letting guests just self park.

Cons: Close to the highway, will definitely hear the highway noise. No pool, hot tub, or sauna.

The hotel deserves better marketing and advertisement, the pictures did not do the space justice, we want to come back and stay a week but bring board games / puzzles and groceries, the 3 bedroom suite was lovely enough to spend time in. We love a vacation where we can enjoy the space we are staying, the floor to window ceilings with 360 views of the mountains were better than any cabin could have provided. Exceeded all expectations. Every staff member was wonderfully helpful and kind. Affordable space and view compared to Omni and biltmore.

Great location to explore Asheville the mountains. Easy to get in and out of in your car since it's on the edge of downtown. Location is very walkable to downtown and the beautiful Montford neighborhood.

The only problem I had with the room was the a/c filter was dirty. I cleaned the filter and the hotel was alerted to the incident. The hotel responded I appreciate you letting us know, after speaking with maintenance, I did learn that the room was thoroughly looked at as part of their servicing. It sounds like they may have accidently missed that. I would love to be able to offer you a complimentary breakfast on us for in the morning or I can add some points to your IHG account? I am so sorry about this incident. How awesome was this! I will definitely be coming back to this location next year. I admire the management response and action to correct the issue and compensate me for my time.

Clean hotel, friendly staff & location.

I love this hotel! They make you feel so special and always remember you as a returning guest.

Our room was less than clean and when the issue was raised with the Desk, it was shrugged off. In the very large shower that we were excited to use, we found a used washcloth over the showerheads and a used travel conditioner on the hotel's conditioner. The double showerheads did not work and were very hard to switch. The toilet would flush sometimes and not others. The main bedroom was clean, but one of the pictures over the bed was missing with an obvious outline of where it had been. I was very disappointed and no longer think it's a guaranteed good stay.

We had an amazing visit! The staff was so welcoming and kind! Our room was very clean as was the entire property.

Room nicely furnished and comfortable though needed a night light. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great location! I asked for a room with a view of the mountains. They accommodated my request! It was a nice corner room with two windows. One downside, the huge tv sat in front of one of the windows, nevertheless, it was still a nice room. Staff, nice, professional and there to assist! I would return here. One note, the restaurant in the hotel has a limited menu, but you are in walking distance of some amazing eateries!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of downtown Asheville, and the top-floor bedrooms offer breathtaking mountain views. Rooms and facilities were very clean especially the bathrooms and Jacuzzi and the room lighting was well planned. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and the staff were polite, courteous, and very helpful. Highly recommended for a quiet relaxing, quality stay.

No issues with our reservation and stay. Breakfast was delicious. This hotel has valet parking only. Location was close to restaurants and music venues.
