From check-in to departure, our favorite hotel experience in recent memory. 10 of 10. Don’t miss the speakeasy in the cellar and dinner at Luminosa was fabulous. The absolute best aspect of this hotel is the wonderful staff. Without exception every person with whom we interacted was delightful. We visit Asheville regularly and The Flat Iron will be our first choice.

The location and history of the hotel is perfect. What really stands out is the staff. They truly made our stay feel special. They were accommodating, provided timely and local insider tips that made our visit memorable. My wife and I especially appreciated the personal attention and how they made us feel like family.

Great hotel, close to all attractions downtown
-
Great accommodating staff and great restaurant.

We do a lot of traveling and the only reason I gave it. A four star was because the staff and the hotel was well maintained and kind. As far as hotels are concerned, it’s nothing special. But they did a great job keeping it clean and welcoming you when you came in.

Stayed for 24 hours for my anniversary staycation. Enjoyed every minute of the hotel, the location is in a perfect location right in the center of restaurants, stores. The hotel itself is such a cool boutique with history. The hotel representative Paul was very nice and helpful with recommendations of places to see and eat or drink. Very accommodating with a earlier check in. The room was very clean. I would definitely stay longer next time around and highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. Easy walking distance to many downtown attractions. I would stay there again.

We love this hotel so much! They did a cool job of converting a 100-year-old office building into a cool hotel. Don’t miss the rooftop bar!

Really unique hotel in a restored 1920's office building. They have done great job adding modern style rooms while maintaining the historic character complete with an old fashion elevator with operator, roof top bar, and even a secret speakeasy. It also has a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant on the property. Great location for exploring downtown Asheville. Cool building, great location, clean modern rooms and an excellent staff waiting to greet you with a glass of prosecco. Will be my go to for stays in downtown Asheville.

A lovely experience in downtown Asheville. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. The only thing I would say is there’s not really a good lobby area -. It’s on the second floor and kind of ordinary. But it overall was a lovely time.

We absolutely loved it there! All staff were helpful, welcoming and friendly. Room was great! Rooftop bar and speakeasy were a fun bonus! Would stay there again!
-
Great hotel. Simple but well needed amenities. No gym which I didn’t realize until there but walking around the neighborhood made up for that. Beautiful downtown with everything available at your fingertips. Cafe and restaurant were amazing too! Highly recommended!!

Property is very nice and clean, but they try to keep everything in 1st class, but somehow, they have a problem cheapest toilet paper, just bringing it to their attention. They should upgrade it, also the elevators are used by the staff and they come in with cards while guests are there, it’s really not proper. Hope this was helpfull. Thank you.
