Not bad.

Great location! Can walk to everything downtown. Friendly staff, quick valet response. Our room was huge, clean, lovely!
-
Built in old department store which was fun. Suggest the executive suite which was very spacious! Everything is within 10 minute walk.
-
We wished there was a light breakfast included, but the restaurants around were very good.
-
Valet staff excellent.

Our room was lovely and large. It was immaculate. Good sports bar next door for NBA finals. The valets were amazing. They were knowledgeable about restaurants and pleasant to chat with. The elevator was out of order during whole stay. Construction was being done and the noise vibrated thru the hotel. Our parking was covered for inconvenience but that was just minimum. Hotel manager was juggling 2 other hotels so didn’t have time to speak with us even by phone. Never got an email from her either. Poor poor guest relations from management. Restaurant was closed. Quite a few homeless wandering around.

Room was huge! Clean , very great staff , valet parking excellent. Resturant was closed though but many dining options nearby!

Great place to stay!
-
Staff nice. My room over alleyway noisy trucks beeping etc 6-7am. No breakfast tho entry for this hotel on booking.com app says they serve breakfast for $20. Constant problems with room key.

Great location! The housekeeping didn’t freshen up bathroom, leave towels or empty trash twice on a four day stay. We knew they didn’t change sheets, clean entire room. That suits us. But having to ask and then wait 30 minutes for someone just to hand us fresh towels isn’t good. And the valet, Michael, didn’t help us with the luggage all the way to the room. He walked away at the elevator-no words. Should be expected that valet helps with luggage upon check in as well as check out. Don’t catch our valet’s name this morning, but he was good. Front desk were great ppl.

Location was great! Room was perfect and employees were very friendly

The Haywood Park Hotel room 412 was awesome. I had a suite with a city view and let me tell you the room was large and spacious. I loved how the bedroom was sectioned off by the windows with drawn curtains. As soon as we walked into the hotel I knew I made a good choice in booking here. The music they had playing in the lobby was from the 60’s with all the great black artists from that era. I just loved it!!! The hostess working the front desk greeted us with a glass of wine and when it was time for our departure I was handed a going away gift bag. I can’t wait to come back hopefully in October and I will most definitely be staying here again and again. God willing!

The staff were wonderful. This location is perfect for walking to nearby restaurants and concert venue.
-
The room was spacious with tasteful art in the space along with a comfortable bathroom with a TV and a jetted tub. The location is very central to a lot of great restaurants and coffee houses and the food quality was excellent with numerous options for your consideration. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Excellent property in the middle of everything
-
The location and the uniqueness of the historic building. The staff was accommodating and I loved Lisa in the spa shop.
-
Very clean and convenient for walking downtown Asheville; no self parking, so you have to use Valet, but very nice staff.

Convenient location

This hotel might be a little pricey depending on day or time or year, but the location can't be beat for doing downtown stuff. I recommend it.
