Let me start by saying that try to exclusively stay at Holiday Inn Express because they are very consistent with there hotels. Beds always comfortable, staff nice and breakfast good for it being a continental breakfast. I wish I could say the same for this hotel. We walked in and were greeted by a young man shouting loudly on the phone in the lobby and threatening to shoot up the place. Gee, hello to you too! Check in was easy but I was sent to a room on the 5th floor instead of the 6th floor. Not a problem if I wasnt an old handicapped woman stopping over to rest for the night before catching my next flight home! Once we got that straightened out I was surprised that the bed was worn down and definitely not like what you get in the other HIE. And the room could have used a proper cleaning but I cleaned out the shower and called it a night. Then started the slamming doors until 4am and the smell of weed by my room. Not sure if breakfast was just that good the next morning or it was the effects of a contact high from the weed smoke around my room, but I will say that the ladies that make the breakfast there get a definite thumbs up from me! Overall, I really wouldn't stay there again unless there was not another option, Solid 5 out of 10 for me and that's only because the lady at the front desk in the morning was very nice and the breakfast as good.

The breakfast was very good and the rooms were clean. However, I did not like the paying for parking. The price is $15/ per night, per car so that would be the only reason that I would not stay again.

Friendly front desk staff, staff at breakfast. Room is clean. Area is convenient to places we want to go to like MGM casino, National Harbor. Easy to find close to the freeway

Enjoyed my stay while in the ATL. The location was near a venue that I planned to attend as well as several restaurants. I would choose to stay here again as it is also not too far away from the airport and they provided an airport shuttle.

I had a very nice stay. The establishment is kept very clean. I had a couple off issues - such as a faulty sink knob and a slow drain. Also - I did not have a telephone cord for the phone in my room. However - the issues were all taken care of immediately. The staff were all extremely caring and helpful. I would indeed stay here again. Thank You to management & staff.

I enjoyed having 24 hr access to the coffee machine in the dining area. Breakfast is fine.

Our drivers really enjoy staying at this hotel. It's close to US Food and Sysco Foods for their early mooning deliveries.

I was satisfied with the staff, room and breakfast. The shuttle bus was late and I used a different bus to get me to the hotel

Best location for a night between flights

It was a typically American breakfast—I liked it; it met my expectations! The room and sheets were clean. The hallways had a bad smell, but that was only outside the room. It’s very close to the airport; I stayed for two days and would definitely stay there again. It’s an older hotel, but everything works very well. Parking was $15 a day—I think it should be free. I’d give it a rating of 6.5.
