Origin Atlanta, a Wyndham Hotel

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good as well.

This hotel only has valet parking which is $55 a day. There is a parking lot across the street from the hotel that costs $30 a day

Clean room, great staff

Great hotel with great service.

The hotel was relatively clean but had next to no amenities except a small gym. The restaurant closes at 9:00 pm or earlier and the food there is not good, The staff however were polite and helpful

The property is in a sort of isolated part of downtown and it was confusing that the door to enter was locked (you need a key card or the front desk to buzz you in) - assuming for security purposes. Easy to get ride share to other places.

Stayed for a World Cup game. Our TV didn’t work so it definitely would have been nice to have that during games. Other than that, Staff were super helpful!

This is a nice hotel. The staff at front desk did not have a hospitality attitude. I felt like it was more we inconvenienced her. The restaurant staff was amazing and kind. Food was good. And I was surprised. Our room was nice. I did not like that only had valet parking. it was further to the event than I would have preferred and though we walked back to the hotel and were safe.... Not great walking around outside hotel at night. I would stay here again.

It was absolutely fantabulous

The room is spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Would stay again when I’m back in Atlanta.

Rates were elevated because of FIFA. Not located in a very safe area of town. Not safe after dark.

Staff was amazing and friendly. Building was overall well kept. The room was mostly clean but there were some areas that weren't. I went to sit at the desk to work and the chair was full of crumbs. The coffee machine was dusty and a bit grimy and the shelf it was on was dusty as well. There was no water in the room to put in the coffee maker, Im not big on using sink water, most hotels I stay have complimentary bottled water or a pitcher of water in the room. My biggest issue was that expedia said this hotel had onsite parking for $25/night, which is the only reason I booked with them. They do not, however, have onsite parking, only $55 valet service. I was extremely disappointed. Overall decent, experience, probably wouldn't stay again though.

Good Location

Great hotel to stay

We choose this hotel due to its proximity to visit nearby colleges. Hotel is very secure. So much so it was a little confusing on how to get inside upon arrival. Front desk staff was great! We had to switch rooms as the first did not have a working TV. The second room was later found to have hair in the shower and an empty water bottle near the ottoman. We had issues with valet the first two days causing delay in obtaining the car for our scheduled appointments. The initial attendant was on his personal phone during the initial setup. We found he entered the wrong phone number in the system. Attempted to correct with him later that evening on our way to dinner and no change. We were not receiving the link to request the car and valet staff told us to request the car via the front desk however, front desk had no way to directly communicate with valet. On our last day Tracy, manager, resolved the issue. Thankful for her and wish we had met her initially. Overall, the location is great for what we needed and the front desk staff (Tracy and Amera) were great but I will likely look at other options in the future.

Great hotel

There were times where we did not have hot water and our toilet ran quietly. I think they just need to work out the kinks. They comped us for this inconvenience with a free breakfast. I would stay again and would recommend. Location is great for the stadium. Not much food around though. You would have to walk like 15 mins for more variety.

The staff there was super nice and helpful along with the restaurant staff ; If you’re looking for a hotel that’s in good walking /driving proximity to downtown activities then this is the perfect place. Breakfast was also amazinggg ; Overall GREAT STAY!!!!
