We had to switch rooms 4 times in one night! The shower wasn’t draining in one another one smelled like a critter died. Issues on issues. Drove up and there were people smoking marijuana blocking the entrance.
-
The lobby had very loud music late into the evening. The pool was also out of service, and the elevator system was confusing and inconvenient. Overall, I did not find this to be a family-friendly hotel and would not recommend staying here.

I always stay at The Starling Midtown each time I visit ATL. It’s affordable clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I indulged in the spa and was able to find a Groupon for the massage which was amazing. Everything is nearby including the food court next door accessible by a connected hallway on the second floor! Best place to stay hands down!

If you’re in Atlanta this is the place to stay. From the time we drove up I felt at home. You won’t be disappointed. The staff was amazing and the housekeeper kept the room clean each day. 10 out of 10 I do recommend!!

Great stay

Parking was expensive, but the overall stay was great
-
The starling is my place to stay while Atlanta. So convenient and staff is top tier!!

Technical trouble on check in; pool not available on property (same last time we stayed there couple years ago). Trouble putting food and beverage on the room.

Really great location, but needs some upgrades. The pool was closed the entirety of our stay. The room was a bit dusty and there was mildew in the shower. There was a loud thunk and screeching sound in the room every time one of our neighbors showered. That being said, the staff was kind and it was so easy to get around from that location. I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but if location is your priority and you don’t mind a few small inconveniences I’d recommend it.

Great service

Unfortunately, there were several issues that kept this from being a great experience. The pool was closed during our stay, which was disappointing since we had been looking forward to using it. We also found a stain on one of the bed sheets and encountered a roach in our room, which raised concerns about cleanliness. Breakfast was another letdown. The process was confusing, and the staff working that area weren't nearly as welcoming as the front desk team. To the hotel's credit, management took our cleanliness concerns seriously and refunded our stay, which showed they wanted to make things right. Overall, there are some great things about this hotel, but I hope they improve the cleanliness and breakfast experience because it has the potential to be an excellent place to stay.

The staff was great and the hotel was gorgeous. They only problem was check in. The system was down so we really didn't check in the room until the next day because we went to the baseball game. Had to change in the bathrooms downstairs in the lobby. Feels like we missed a day in the hotel because we didn't get in there until midnight.
-
The computer system was down at our checkin time so we had to wait and give them a phone number to be contacted. We finally just went back and we finally able to get in our room. Also parking was quit expensive and wasn’t included in our package. That wasn’t made clear to me in our reservation. Each night of off site parking was $60.

Great clean hotel with lovely staff but pool was out of use. Had I been told this in advance I would have stayed somewhere else. Suggested solution was walk to another hotel to use their pool and take a permission letter with me - not great.
-
The breakfast was great, staff was helpful, the room was clean.
-
Mostly I was disappointed because the staff changed our room from a good view of the park, as paid for to a view of AC equipment. I booked this hotel for the view and did not realize what happened until it was too late
-
Excellent value and location.
-
I would book this hotel again. Really cute resturant on the main floor and a path on the second floor that leads to several dining options.

Our stay was great but we did have to switch rooms 3 seperate times during our 5 day stay. The day we were scheduled to arrive, our flight got about 7 hours. We called ahead of time to advise, but when we arrived and got into our room we realized there was one bed. It was a suite with a king bed, but since we were 3 people we booked a regular room with two beds. We had to go to the lobby to address this and that’s when they told us they had overbooked and we were going to be switched into another room the next day. They brought us an extra twin roller bed for the night. The next day, we are switched with no issues but the A.C stopped working around 10 PM so we had to be switched into another room. The hotel was great, and handled everything quickly but just a lot of unfortunate inconveniences for a pricey stay.
