The Claridge Hotel

Great rates, very welcoming staff and conveniently located to the beach and all the boardwalk has to offer. Love it here and have stayed many times. Highly recommend.

Hotel needs updating. The location is good. The prices were fair. Our room was on the 14th floor, so couldn’t open windows. The room was smelly. We had to turn the AC on all the time.

Great stay

My experience at this hotel was satisfactory, although there were a few issues. Firstly, the hotel’s odor upon entering was unpleasant, reminiscent of urine. Secondly, the hotel’s water supply was interrupted for several hours, resulting in the water turning brown when it was eventually restored. Apart from these minor inconveniences, the overall stay was satisfactory.

Elevators took way too long. Restaurant staff was rude and had limited food available. Rooms not very clean .

Check in took way too long. Only 2 towels in the bathroom, toilet wouldn't flush, elevators took forever. Key card stopped working because the "system" crashed. And no one would answer so had to go to the front desk. And nothing was resolved. Will never stay there again

Close to the beach and boardwalk but they invaded our privacy and staff entered the room on us with a do not disturb sign on the door and left abruptly when they found us in there and didn’t answer when we asked why they they were there. Scary and manager was totally rude when we asked about the situation. Floors were dirty and not very clean overall.

With multiple concerts and events happening on summer weekends there should be a back up program/plan. We were there early and could have been checked in manually. We got back at 3:15 to a line of about 20 people. Check in was suppose to start at 4. It took an hour and 20 minutes to check in and when were were done there were easily 100 people in line. After our concert, close to 11PM the line was still that long and it was impossible to get an elevator. There was also a rooftop party going on. People were forced to use the stairs, which is okay for some but not for everyone

If there is an event in the area, check-in could take up to an hour

There was a huge RÜFÜS DU SOL concert going on down on the boardwalk, so we heard partygoers until the wee hours of the morning because the walls were very thin. The phone was broken so we didn’t even attempt to use it to call the front desk. There is no bathtub or Jacuzzi so if you are banking on that, I would look somewhere else. Overall, the bed was comfy and clean. The elevators got very crowded and there was a very long wait to get up to our room on the ninth floor. Better signage for stairwells would have been helpful. It was a quick 3 block walk to the boardwalk and beach. Lots of places to shop and eat too.

Nice stay

We were in town for a concert. The bed was comfy. The room was clean. No issues during our stay. Check in was easy and our room was ready early. Convenient location to the things we wanted to do.

Deberían de hacer un mantenimiento a las puertas están súper duras para abrirlas, los elevadores huelen muy feo y las puertas se cierran muy fuerte.. me dieron una habitación que no tenía Tina y que la puerta de la ducha no cerraba porque estaba dura .. el agua se salía de la ducha! ..

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff was great. I loved the rooftop lounge it was very relaxing. The breakfast was very good at the 6th floor restaurant. I traveled with a senior and the toilet was a bit low to the floor.

The black front desk man was rude on the phone and in person. The elevators were horrible! Took forever to get to and from the room.
