My wife and I have stayed at. The Claridge hotel several times before and we never had a problem. What we've noticed was there were staff that wasn't very informed about the hotel amenities. The pool was dirty and some guests complained and left the pool area. I reported the situation to the front desk. After a full day and 3 request.maintainance ignored the white film floating in water and said the pool was good because "they could see the bottom of the pool". Ice machine inoperable. Our stay could have been better. Disappointedly. Bruce Kemp.

Second, we had a refrigerator that took forever to get cold. No t.v remote and a.c took a long time to get the room cool. We also didnt have a working room phone to call the front desk, which made it more annoying from the 20th floor. Third, two people at the desk didnt help to fix the problems that we had addressed , so nothing was done or accommodated. I asked a housekeeping worker for 2 towels and she told me no i cant give you them. RUDE AS HELL. Other than that i wouldnt recommended or go back to here. This is my first and last time.

I was very patient with them not once did I get nasty the manager was very pleasant and did her best But I doubt I’ll visit the claridge again. The service has gotten terrible

Took 2 HOURS to check in which is ridiculous!!!!Others had been waiting for 4+ hours. Extremely low staff and the staff that were working were not friendly at all. Don’t work in customer service if you can’t be friendly or accommodating. All they could say it’s July 4th weekend…which means MANAGEMENT LACKED in preparing to staff accordingly. Why did the lobby only have 2 people check in guests for over 300+ guests. When I spoke with the manager, Jennifer 8pm, letting her know if they could compensate us with some vouchers of food since we missed our reservation 7pm. Her response was “why didn’t we go to the reservation.” What a rude response a MANAGER gives. We didn’t know Claridge hotel check in takes HOURS we needed to shower first and get ready which we had to cancel our reservation for night. First and LAST TIME going to this hotel. Elevators take 15+ mins, hotel phones take 10+ minutes for anyone to respond or they don’t respond at all. The only person that was very friendly was Jerry the server/bartender on the rooftop. He was very friendly despite being busy, attentive (as much as he could be) other bartenders were rude to the guest next to us or would just ignore majority leaving Jerry to work more. Food at the VUE was good along with the breakfast food. But overall would not recommend anyone to go there unless you went to see a rooftop but not to stay.

I have bed bugs thanks to you.

The check-in process took about an hour, and they didn't have any early check-in available, I guess because of the holiday!

Parking wasn't included. Hotel was nice and staff was friendly.
-
Tired lobby, refurbished floor, nice breakfast - tried and true spot to stay in AC.

On a Tuessday night, there were no adequate restaurants open either in this hotel or in nearby casinos. We made do with good quality snacks at VUE bar. Lobby, elevators, and long passageways to the garage looked threadbare. We enjoyed the Curator's Tour and organ concert at Boardwalk Hall, but the rest of Atlantic City was quite depressing, and even frightening.

Clean room. Courteous Staff.
-
Many issues, from a 2 hour checking in lines, long wait for elevators and broken shower head in room causing water splash all over the bathroom

The room was clean. The staff were helpful. They gave us no beach view room. But that’s okay. We still had sunlight to shine in the room. The fridge barely worked but it took time to get cold. They need to upgrade their tv lol. The bed was cleaned. I checked for bugs etc. never know. The elevator took forever even though they had 5-6. 23rdth floor the Vue. We ordered food. They took forever for the Cesar shrimp salad. The wings came out before that. The vibe was great ( music). The view on the rooftop is great. The bathrooms were clean. I give this hotel 3.8/5. I would come again.
