Breakfast is good

The saving grace of this property is the food: excellent breakfast and happy hour mac&cheese bar. Otherwise, have to pay to park even though not in city (and staff person told us that was why had to pay). Many things in need of repair: no working lights in side parking area, one elevator not working, carpet in rooms hallway stayed dirty with some sort of food spillage our whole stay, bath and kitchen sinks faucets were in need of repair, bedroom carpet coming up where meets bath flooring, large crack in bathroom sink. No ice machine (at all). No extra bedding (blanket, sheet). And had to have maintenance guy come for issue with tv.

Location The hotel was dated, there were ants in the room and in the breakfast seating area. My shower knob in the main bedroom was broken and had trouble getting the correct temperature. Some power outlets didn’t work. There was no iron. The chair in the living room was extremely dirty and had gum on it. The TV in the main bedroom only showed a black screen and would turn off and on all night. Remote didn’t work. The hotel knew about it but sold the unit anyway per the front desk. They wouldn’t allow me to swap rooms. Would only offer me a few hotel points (Not even close to enough to matter though). If I were there more than a night, I would’ve checked out right then and left however it was non-refundable. I’ve had this issue every time I book through Booking. I think the hotels put your customers in their worst units. Not sure that I’ll continue to book through 3rd parties if this is how I’ll be treated.

This was a great facility convienently located by many restaurants and store.

Our room was spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast and free parking.

The breakfast was laid out for making your own choices for omelettes, waffles or yogurt parfaits-all my favorites. The staff was helpful, polite and welcoming. Even with summer road construction nearby, it was still easy in and out.

Staff was quick to fix an issue in bathroom.

The place is slam worn out. I have stayed there 6-8 times over the past few years. This is the worst I have ever seen it. I understand under new ownership. Hope they didn’t pay much. I wish them luck but I won’t be going back.

The breakfasts were great and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. This was our second stay at this hotel and if we come back to Austin, I'm sure we will choose it again.
