This is a wonderful place

First off, this place is in a bad area. It may seem ok because it's got a bunch of restaurants next to it, but the surrounding neighborhoods are pretty bad and this motel reflects that. First thing when we got there we met a guy who was waiting outside the front office, who was either drunk or high, but friendly. He immediately told us how this place was "not a place to bring the family" and how most of the guests/residents were junkies, prostitutes, and other sketchy people. Huge red flag. The front office is only open until 11pm and they make you use a phone to call them to come to the office. Another red flag. While heading up to our room we saw what was probably a sex worker and her pimp. The person in the room next to us had guests knocking on their door after 1am and it sounded like furniture being moved afterward. Had a hard time sleeping because of this. Secondly, the amenities are bare bones. There are no toiletries, just a single bar of soap and no extra toilet paper rolls. Our room had less than half a roll of toilet paper and the written policy at their front desk said they only give 1 toilet paper roll per week. Per. Week. There is no real blanket either, just a very thin blanket in between 2 sheets. There is a kitchenette, but no cookware or anything in the cabinets at all. And the wifi is terrible and does not reach very far. No breakfast either. Stay at your own risk.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was in Austin to be with my aunt who had been flown in to a hospital downtown. I made this reservation at 10pm. I made it to the hotel at 1130pm. The office was closed. The sign read office hours were until 11pm. Nowhere was this communicated. Not on the reservation, not in the confirmation, nowhere. I had to make another reservation elsewhere. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with them for a refund and have received no response. This is unacceptable and wrong. I'm at a loss for words how they didn't communicate this and won't respond to my request.

AC barely worked and the bathroom leaked constantly

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The pictures are extremely deceptive. It was not nice, nor well maintained. For some reason, it had a high rating. It does not deserve even a low to medium one. Furthermore the grounds and some of the guests looked extremely shady. Some crazy person a few doors down spent the evening yelling. The staff was completely useless. It is advertised as having a kitchen, but there is no kitchen equipment, not even a pan or a fork. All in all, a horrible stay. Avoid at all costs.

Room had roaches, roaches, roaches. We left in the middle of our visit.

I like the privacy of the rooms and their cleanliness.

The room itself was very cramped, with barely enough space to move around comfortably. The shower floor felt rough and worn out, making it unpleasant to use. To make matters worse, the air conditioner barely worked, so the room stayed hot and uncomfortable throughout the night. We had originally booked a three-night stay, but after spending just one night there, we decided to leave and find somewhere else. It was not worth staying any longer. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

There were no towels all day

First of all I didn't like the lies and it just started to train reaction from the lies I understand this might be my property but I would never never that employees continue to lie without discipline this is property that was held back from me I was blocked from every knowing that it was mine
-
There were NO towels available all day
-
The TV did not work the entire time I was there. It came on but you couldn’t change the channel
-
Good for the price
-
The customer who stayed in that room before me must’ve had a dog because the shell was overwhelming
-
There is still a problem with roaches
-
Got the reservation for the purpose of having a kitchen in the room and there were no kitchen items (pots, pans, plates, etc). Also wasn’t very clean (found trash in the bathroom as soon as we got in) and asked the staff about a late check out option and got two different answers that were confusing.
-
Wish they had a pool.

For the price you can’t complain too much. The hotel was very laid back which I enjoyed but when we arrived we were given a room key that ended up unlocking a room someone was currently already staying in. I loved the amenities of the kitchen area in the room. The only problem I ran into was the key thing and also the smell of the room. It smelled very very wet and damp like it was full of wet clothes or something which made the air in the room very muggy and the bedding didn’t feel very clean.

The cleanest of the room A little cheaper price
