Spark by Hilton Bakersfield Central

The ice bucket had garbage in it... That kind of a surprise. NO CLOCK! Never stayed in a room with no clock. Noisy (very noisy) kids in the adjoining room! All-in-all... It was an ok stay.

Our stay was just fine. Not terrible but the Continental Breakfast was nothing to write home about. I didn’t love that the AC didn’t have an option to keep the fan on. I also didn’t love that I could hear the people in the floor above, checking in at 3am. I could hear every step they made. Not the best. But the hotel itself is fairly descent.

The property itself is nice overall… still looks new and decor was good too. The dirty sheets I came into and the staff that refused to do anything about it.

Everything was clean and the staff was very pleasant, and helpful. The breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay there again. One thing I wished we had a microwave in the room. Not a big deal we had refrigerator.

A huge car park with lots of spaces for free. A massive room with a large bed that was very comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful The only thing I could have asked for was more water pressure

The building & room was clean. The breakfast had a small healthy variety & was enjoyable.

The room I got is clean and new, everything just great. The hotel is right next to highway so I was a bit worried about the noise and safety but their staff told me their security will patrol the parking lot during the night which is nice. Wasn’t too noisy. Breakfast is not as good as Hampton but makes sense as Spark is the subordinate to Hampton and better than nothing. I personally don’t use any amenities like gym or pool so no comments on those. Overall a good place to stay: cheap, clean, safe and breakfast included

Room was very clean, staff efficient, breakfast somewhat mediocre, nothing much to write about. Ok place to stay if you’re in Bakersfield.

It was clean , after they moved us 2 times before the good bedroom.. the two rooms before had a bad smelling… but after the 3 rd one it was much better, new carpet .. but coffee maker . 😞

The bed was very comfortable and that’s a great hotel when you’re traveling with dogs, as there are some grass areas in the back of the hotel
