Clarion Hotel & Suites BWI Airport North

The hotel needs to be updated/renovated. The lobby furniture is old and dirty. The room was clean, but old. The bathroom door had a hole in it and the tub had a burn mark. The breakfast was minimal and the dining hall was dingy. There were people who appear to live there as they were complaining that there’s always one of the elevators out. Te upper floors are old and need updating as well. I checked out early.

Arrived late at night. Needed a place to sleep. Room was clean enough. Bathroom needs work. It worked for me.

No Expedia reservation although I clearly had one. Agreed to charge my reservation rate, which was 2x current rate. In other words, they charged me more for my non reservation than if I had just walked off the street, Per Expedia this is a 3 1/2 star hotel with nice pictures. Perhaps 30 years ago hotel looked like picture, but not in 2026. Broken facilities, mold stains, uncomfortable bed,etc. This is a 1-2 star hotel. Go elsewhere if you want something better.

I would appreciate it if you could review this situation and advise on a possible refund or other resolution. Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to your response.

The staff sent a vehicle to the airport to make sure my handicap sister was picked up and transported safely to the hotel and called me when she arrived. Thank you!

Non smoking section smells like cigarettes! The free breakfast was offer was nothing but muffins. I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel.

You’re definitely getting what you pay for. It’s clean enough but we had some unknown substances on our walls. Overall, it was a fine place to stay for two nights.

It was generally fine. The hotel has an odor, but it's on the lower end so we shouldn't have expected much. No trash cans in the room. The shower is a struggle to turn on and turn off, the toilet paper holder was non-existent, and the water pressure was oddly HIGH. Go figure? The staff was fine, but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.

First off the drive into the city was the trashiest I’ve ever seen and that was a glimpse of the parking lot and hotel. Photos online are not what the rooms looked like and it was essentially a landlords special. Rooms were decent smelled of smoke even through we booked non smoking but was relatively clean in the room. Breakfast was a JOKE (hair was in the spoons, nothing had been refilled, we asked for waffle refill at 8:30 and she never refilled). Would stay here if I had to but would probably look elsewhere first

This wasthe worst hotel experience I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the property was not being properly maintained. The floors in the lobby, elevators, and hallways were extremely dirty and appeared as though they had not been mopped in days. Upon exiting the elevator on the fourth floor, where my room was located, I was immediately met with a strong odor of marijuana throughout the hallway. This created an unpleasant and inappropriate environment, especially as I was traveling with my small child. Once in the room, I discovered that the television did not work. When I contacted the front desk, the employee appeared to already be aware of the issue and simply informed me that maintenance would return in the morning. No effort was made to resolve the issue during my stay. More concerning was the condition of the room door. The door did not close flush and appeared as though it may have been previously damaged or kicked in. Additionally, the security latch was loose. I immediately reported this safety concern to the front desk, but all I received was an apology. I was not offered a room change or any other accommodation, leaving me feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsafe while staying with my child. I am seeking a full refund for my stay!
