The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore

Very clean and well laid out hotel. Front Street rooms overlooking the harbour. Safe parking located very near and a good place to explore downtown. Nice restaurant and decent breakfast available. Highly recommend and thanks to all the staff and Anthony. Checking in till 4pm could have been a bit ealier but thats all.

My room was nice and roomy. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Nice view, friendly staff. Plumbing fixtures were loose on the wall and tub. We had a premium room and it wasn’t anything special except for the view and good size.

I needed to leave my apt for a few days for painting and new carpeting so I headed downtown Baltimore (I live in Baltimore) to book a hotel for a few days and found the Sonesta Royal on Light street, downtown Baltimore. The location was perfect with a beautiful view of the Inner Harbor. My hotel room was HUGE and so was the bathroom, I mean huge! Beautiful hotel with many outdoor spaces away from the public. A heated pool, full gym with sauna and jacuzzi. Men's locker room with lockers and showers. LOVED IT. I travel a lot for work and I must say this hotel put many of the more traveled cities to shame. Well done. Mr. Garner

Was in town for the Baltimore Ravens home season opener. The location of the hotel was great. We were only there for a night so it was good for the price and location.

We had a great weekend get away.

Check in was a little harried. We left a bag in the lobby and didn't realize it until later. Someone found it, but when we went to ask about it, no one knew where it was. Going above and beyond duty, the valet went in and looked around and found it for us and saved the day.

Great location. Walking distance to many restaurants, stores, and the aquarium. Helpful and nice staff. However, walls are thin and you can hear the bathrooms flushing from other rooms and when people walk by talking. Also, if you get a room facing the harbor it can be pretty loud if you’re a light sleeper. Other than that, everything was good. Restaurant on the 2nd floor was also good. You have to pay for parking but there is a way to get in to the hotel from the parking deck which is nice. Would stay there again.

Great location. Clean. Took 4 attempts to get all the packages we had delivered as kept not being given all of them. Restaurant on property incredibly slow and understaffed. Gave up and left restaurant after waiting a long time for a drink or a menu. Kept being told, I’ll get to you.

Everything went according to plan.

My son and I were in town to watch our Cleveland Guardians play the Orioles and to visit Camden Yards specifically. The hotel was the perfect location! We could walk to the ballpark from the hotel. We were also able to walk around the inner harbor and have dinner that evening. Our room itself was clean, large, comfortable and inviting. I especially loved the unique sayings on all of the provided toiletries! Staff were friendly and helpful not just at check in/out but anytime we encountered someone while out of our room. The hotel itself had more amenities than we were able to use during our stay but we did take advantage of the grab and go breakfast area in the morning before heading home. The parking in an attached deck and reasonably priced, especially considering we then did not have to pay to park for the game. I highly recommend staying at this property for anyone visiting the Baltimore area.

The location is great if you want to check out the Inner Harbor area or attend a Ravens/Orioles game. It was an easy walk to both. The front desk staff was very helpful after my initial phone call. Park in the Harbor Court Garage but don't scan the QR code on the wall signs (even though the signs say you have to). When you check-in, tell them you parked in the garage and give them your license plate number and you can get a better rate through the hotel. The front desk didn't tell me any of that when I called about where to park. The hotel also has valet but we didn't use it. The property itself is a little older and the showing some wear and tear. No overhead lights in the rooms, just a bunch of switched lamps. No nightlight in the bathroom - the light is either on or off. There's a bathtub in the bathroom and the caulk is gray and the surface is chipped. The shower knob was loose/not attached well. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the view of the harbor was nice from our 8th-floor room. We would return.
