Beautiful, remodeled room. Cleanest room I have ever been to in a hotel. Absolutely loved it. Was very pricey but I think that was expected for being in Bar Harbor

The issue it has no lift…for elderly persons , it will be a big issue !

It was so clean and modern. Very comfortable. The view and food was great!

I love the convenience. It was very close to downtown Bar Harbor area. I also love that after a long day we could just order food in the resort to our room without having to leave the resort. The hot tub and pool were a bonus. We had fun playing pickle ball on the courts outside.

The cleaning staff was exceptional, we came in to a very clean room each day.

The room was awesome. Bar was great. Location awesome.

Balcony has a really nice view.

Easy check in, staffs were wonderful and hotel amenities were great. The hotel restaurant offered kids eat free for 12 and under was great. Parking was plentiful but can be harder to find at night. The shuttle to town is a plus and runs frequent enough. Overall, we would stay here again!

The rooms are okay - a bit dated but fine overall. The sink in our room didn’t drain and the internet didn’t work at night (room 243). The staff at the front desk couldn’t have been ruder to me when I asked if we could switch rooms to one where the internet would work. The first worker I spoke with rolled her eyes repeatedly when I said it wasn’t working and then she handed me off to her manager who rolled her eyes before I even said anything to her. They told me they sent someone to fix the sink and internet while we were gone. Neither was fixed when we returned, so clearly they lied about that. The sink problem could’ve been fixed in 2 minutes with a plunger… overall, a mediocre hotel with a rude staff.

Great waterfront location just a few minutes from bar harbor. The free island shuttle picks up at the hotel so you don’t have to drive down and look for parking.

Very easy to pick up the shuttle bus to take you into the town, Great facilities and friendly staff . Perhaps need a training session on how to make a cup of tea like an English person.

The overall property was very neat and well landscaped. There are multiple buildings - building #4 where we were, appeared to have been recently renovated with new carpet in the halls and a comfortable little lobby area with coffee and hot chocolate available. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The bathroom was very nice. The shower had a rain head style fixture as well as a hand wand which was a very nice feature. However, the shower only had the large hotel toiletries and nowhere to put any personal toiletries. Both check-in and check-out was less than efficient, and the staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. During our stay we were awakened the last night at midnight by the fire alarm and everyone in our building evacuated, but there was no response by the hotel staff or fire department for almost 20 minutes. Thankfully, it was a false alarm, but no one from the hotel ever said one word to all of us standing in the damp and cold! And when I brought it up at check-out the next morning, the front desk person didn't even apologize or express any regret - all she said was "those things happen sometimes". While we liked the property overall and the location, we were less than pleased with the interactions with the staff. Would we stay there again? Maybe but only if there were no other comparable accommodations available.

The in-room fridge, the microwave available for guests, and the laundry facilities make the hotel very convenient, especially for longer stays. Maybe because I booked through Booking.com, we were given what was probably one of the worst rooms in the hotel. It was located close to the staff facilities, was quite noisy, and had a noticeable humidity problem.
