Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge Downtown

I chose this hotel for the river view/ corner room. The room itself was unique, but the view wasn't as expected and the room was not as clean to our liking. Hair on the floor, dirty wash rags in the shower, urine drops around the toilet, just really needs an over all deep, sanitizing cleaning. Hated the shower. The tile was very slick and water didn't get very warm. I wouldn't stay here again when there is other options, especially for the price, plus $25 parking fee.

The staff was exceptional. Amy and Hope were very personable. The location was perfect...a short walk over to see the water vessel activity on the river!

The room was missing a few things. did not have shower gel... called downstairs and it too a while to get it. Not enough towels. The water pressure was very low and the shower looked as though it had not been cleaned in a while. Didnt realize we would be in a handicap room however there was not chair or anything to sit your suitcase on etc. If I had guest they would not be able to sit anywhere but on the bed. The beds were extremely squeaky. the overall hotel was better than I had anticipated and the staff as very nice and helpful but I dont thikn each room is getting serviced the way they should nor are they being checked on if they are sitting for a while. Really need to make sure rooms are clean and sanitized well.

We had an excellent stay! The hotel was very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend staying here. I would definitely visit again!

Loved this place! Clean, conveniently located, nice big comfortable rooms, and free hot breakfast. Highly recommend.

Close proximity to LSU campus. Front desk staff and maintenance staff was always very helpful, accommodating, and happy. Common areas were always kept clean. Breakfast included a good variety of food options. Room was spacious and included a nice layout with large desk for working and sitting area with sofa. Would definately stay again!

Awesome place, clean with friendly staff.

Since the moment we entered, everyone were so helpful and friendly. Amazing professional Shayla at the front desk welcome and assisted us with our cuestions about dinning. The next morning all personnel at the cafeteria and at the entrance saluted and checked with all the clients in how was our breakfast. It was unique. We felt in love with all the painting and decorations. - Definitely, we will back. Thank you so much

Breakfast amazing

Location and views are great. It was very quiet at night. Rooms spacious very nice layout. Customer service was great very nice interaction. Couple issues fridge froze everything inside it. Had to call for more tissue and towels but they did respond immediately❤️. We visit other locations and they offered paper towels on the mini bars which is nice and this one didn’t but we travel with some anyway. Parking fees are bit high also

Friendly staff on top of keeping this lovely old building clean in a great section of downtown Baton Rouge room views of the river close to all my favorite restaurants, and affordable
