Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baton Rouge Airport

I just loved the ambiance from my first stay four years ago. I love, love, love the ambiance with the new upgrades. The only problem I have is no dressers.

This is a standard hotel nothing mind blowing, nothing cringe worthy. I have no complaints about our stay.

Property was not far from the airport… the room was clean, quiet and cozy. My daughter enjoyed the comfy bed and the swimming pool. The receptionist was nice and made me feel like he cared about my safety as a single woman checking in.

It was for workers and people needing a place to stay. It was clean and noisy.

Well maintained hotel. Breakfast buffet was limited.

Bugs in the room one on my pillow. No drawers closet no iron or ironing board. Noice above me kids jumping. Doors slamming. Horrible customer service. When I took the pillow to the front desk the man accused me of basically trying to get out of paying for my stay! $150 is nothing. I’d payed more and received better at other hotels (Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott). I told him this is a motel not a hotel! He said said the description of what was in the room was on the details/amenities. Not true. Only says about coffee in the lobby an microwave and refrigerator in the room which caught my eye. I’m diabetic and need a refrigerator. I contacted Expedia spoke with Jenny she called Microtec the manager manager aid there was hair products on the pillow and he was going to keep my deposit. It showed credit on my receipt. I also contacted Wyndham. Don’t stay there!!!

Clean room would always come back to stay

Staff jumped on the breakfast bar at 9 am sharp to quickly put away food and drinks. There was about 6-10 people trying to finish up eating something but they were bending to wait for us to finish. Not that great of breakfast bar. All and all it was ok for price.

Tv wasn’t working everything else was clean & amazing

The room was pretty good, nothing extra. The breakfast was good. The main lobby and hallways, however, had an odor of incense everywhere you went. I was thankful the room did not smell the same or we would not have stayed.

Everything was great! The hot water wasn’t that hot but everything else was fantastic!
