SpringHill Suites by Marriott Baton Rouge North/Airport

It was pretty good overall only few flaws,specifically the breakfast.

I usually stay at this location while in town, but was quite disappointed in breakfast this time. There were turkey options a few days, or when asked, which was frustrating for guests who don't eat pork. We stayed for 6 nights and had to ask for extra towels each day, although 5 people were reported in the room. Some of the guest services representatives appeared to be bothered when asked

The staff was good, the breakfast was all right, but the room was terrible, the AC smell nasty, roaches everywhere even if the room apparently was clean the cockroaches came out from the couch

Really nice rooms- clean and well appointed.

How the rooms are made and it’s close to my job liked everything

I liked the location. I didn't have the breakfast. I don't think that it was good. I would like to have been able to check in early, but couldn't after traveling to get there. I didn't like that we were not offered clean towels for the second night. Or room service at all. I ended up paying more because the room that I reserved was not available.

I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room as well as how spacious it was, the staff was also very friendly and accommodating. They helped us by allowing an early check in when my flight landed a few hours early. Overall the experience was great and I would book again.

Good experience and well breakfast

The hair product in bathroom didn't work.

Additionally, I was disappointed that a complimentary transfer to another nearby hotel within the same brand family was not available. My business was in South Baton Rouge, while this property was located in North Baton Rouge, making it less convenient for my stay. The surrounding area also felt somewhat isolated and appeared more rundown than expected, which detracted from the overall experience. I will be more cautious when choosing and not make this mistake again. Not recommended.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was sparse but we managed. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room.

Room was large and beds were comfortable but it was dirty. White powder dust on glasses, hair left the shower and carpet was not clean (I could feel things in my socks). Breakfast was hot and typical options were available.

Everyone was very kind, the property was clean and this stay was quite.

Also, I encountered a member of the housekeeping staff who was very unfriendly. I spoke she said nothing. She had the elevator blocked with her cart. Never acknowledged me or even said Excuse me, sorry.

The thermostat in our room was stuck at 64. Too cold for us. The toilet was dirty (we cleaned it with Clorox wipes we had)and outlets on one side of the bed didn't work(used others in the room, but a bit inconvenient ) Arrival was so late, we went to bed anyway. The next day we asked the thermostat be addressed, but nobody had looked at it the 5 hours we were gone, when they did look at it, they offered a new room. We took it. The keys they gave us didn't work, and upon returning to the desk, they had given us the wrong keys. At breakfast, the toaster barely worked, and on the first morning I discovered the oatmeal I dished up was stone cold. Better the next day. Staff was courteous, but overall disappointing.
