Motel 6 Baton Rouge, LA - Southeast

Met expectations for a quick overnight stay on my road trip for this budget brand. Clean room, A/C worked, the door locked. No muss no fuss. Staff friendly.

Pets allowed I believe I reserved room with 2 queen, pullout couch but the room only had 2 queen, we were 3 adults and 2 kids. But got a room with 2 queen only.

The staff and room cleaners are very nice.you can park buy your door

Nothing The fact that the bathroom door had a big hole punched in it the bathroom door did not close you had to put the microwave on top of the bathroom sink and plug it in no refrigerator in the room one of the beds had a giant lump in the middle there was stains on the pillows the smell of weed was everywhere they had food on the walkway in front of the door the pool was locked you could not use it for whatever reason the first room we got the air condition was broke the second room we almost got the air condition was broke so the third room had a new air condition and that's the only thing good about it

It was very clean. Also in a good location The pool wasn't open.

it was very peaceful and quiet

It was very close to different stores and fast food restaurants i liked. It was an unpleasant smell. It smelled like Cigarettes And Bleach all weekend, which i did not enjoy.

Easy to find The outside could use some re doing

For a budget motel this place was great. Clean and recently updated rooms. I appreciated that it was hard flooring rather than carpet. Kiki at the front desk was a gem who helped us with early check-in. Pool looked clean and nice, although we didn't use it. The exterior of the building is worn and unwelcoming.

Wasn’t far from everything Room was not cleaned at all and neighbors were constantly smoking cigarettes.

I need my money back

There was no breakfast. The motel clerk was pretty nice though and friendly as was the cleaning staff which went a long way to making our stay comfortable. The motel exterior was in sad shape. The room smelled like urine, however the beds were clean and the sheets were clean so we kept the room.( Too tired from long drive to protest) My reservation was very inaccurate but the motel clerk cancelled it for me and got me a room that I had requested. I won't be using booking.com again.

The Pool That I didn't have a choice to pick downstairs even though I reserved the place months in advance. One of the cleaning ladies left my door cracked and I was gone for hours.

Some of the guests seem problematic but front desk assured me they weren’t a problem
