Need better Cleaning to room , still had hair in bathroom and on bedding
-
A mess of broken glass, food wrappers, and soda cans were left under the bed from a previous tenant. The pool was green so we couldn't swim, Breakfast was supposed to be out at 6:30am and it was almost 9:00am till they set it up.

The pool was disgusting and the "hot tub" was even more dirty. Bullet hole in our room window. This weekend was LSU summer graduation along with students moving in. You would think the hotels would be better prepared. Will never stay at this Residence Inn again. Marriott do better!!!

The room smelled foul and did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. There was hair in the fridge and the bathrooms did not appear to be clean. The pool was not working and filled with green water. The front desk offered us another room but advised that the a/c did not appear to be working in that unit. We ended up leaving and going to a different hotel.

When I arrived there was no room for me but they were able to clean one and get it ready. I couldn’t get a key only the master key worked. No key for room.

We arrived at night, and the place appeared clean and tidy. There was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffee, sugar, creamer, etc. The beds looked clean on the surface, but when we pulled back the sheets, we found stains and hairs on the beds. The bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but the body wash seemed to be more water than soap. One of the bathrooms didn’t have toilet paper. The kitchen was clean and had utensils. Breakfast was supposed to be available at 6:00 a.m., but it wasn’t served until around 7:30 a.m. because the person responsible for breakfast arrived very late that day. We had traveled to Baton Rouge specifically for an event and needed to leave the hotel by 7:15 a.m. Unfortunately, this delayed our departure because we needed to eat before leaving. The breakfast itself was good and had a variety of options. The rooms are not cleaned every day, so when we returned from our event, the beds had not been made. However, someone must have entered the room because the trash bags and dirty towels had been removed, but they forgot to replace the towels. We went to the front desk to ask for clean towels, and the lady there was very polite and helpful. The hotel staff is very nice, but I think the management could be better.

This is a run down property. It was just old and worn out for the most part. I’m surprised Marriott hasn’t done more to improve this location.

Breakfast starts at 8. So can't really before work. Musty smell. Did have a grill tho.

Very good

room was decent, but it did not warrant a 4 star review. The whole place looked very "used" and needs a refresh. Also the smell of Marijuana is everywhere - not that it bothers me, but I wouldn't want my wife and kids and the ensuing questions with me! overall, the place looks a little beat up - its more of an $80 a night place

Location To many issues with the two rooms I was in. Front desk couldn’t answer any simple questions, acted like they simply just didn’t care. House keeping was awesome. I don’t have access to the other room. But it was in really bad condition.

I stayed at this Marriott property several years ago and this visit was disappointing. I found the outside landscape weedy and unkept even thought the landscape company just finished working there. Who cuts ornamental grasses in the middle of July? November is a more appropriate time to do that. Staff was pleasant enough. And while the room was acceptable, one of the coverings on one dining chair was torn and shredded. This residence clearly needs some attention. The breakfast was more than acceptable.

The staff were excellent, but there’s only so much they can do with a property that desperately needs serious investment. Water leaking from the room above mine into my room, dirty appliances in the kitchen, no soap or anything stocked and a general old crusty hotel feel. Marriott can do better. I’d pass on staying here again.

Staff was great although they could not help us with extending the stay for a day, we figured it out. It was a perfect step up for our traveling sports team, giving space for the kids and adults.

I had 3 rooms. All 3 rooms had no soap and all 3 sets of shower supplies were empty. 1 room (302) had the shower curtain stapled where the holes ripped (inexcusable). The bathroom sink was extremely slow draining and the obstruction in the drain could be clearly seen, the toilet handle was cracked so when flushed you would pinch your finger. Two rooms (302 & 315) had door locks that didn't work one had to be jiggled and yanked really hard to open the other just wouldn't lock. One room (310) had food/drink residue splashed on the wall at the dinette that could be seen from across the room, no reason housekeeping should have missed it. The same room had a very large hair clog in the handicap shower. Either the cleaning staff didn't clean it or chose to ignore it. The kitchenette in 310 had an entire cabinet filled with leftover food from previous guests. Several other small issues with maintenance. However, the beds very comfortable and clean and the staff were really nice. I did the front desk about the maintenance issues and clogs so they can resolve it. Overall, I personally will choose other hotels when coming back, because price did not equal quality at this location.

This hotel was definitely one of the best valued hotels I've ever stayed it. 10/10 would recommend!
-
Grounds not kept and facility filty, toilets nasty, loud fans, knows missing , bugs. POOL water leftbin green slim, not clean and not operational for summer use.
-
Did not like it at all Roaches in the room everywhere. Pop on the light they run even behind the tv. We took pictures

Visited here with family. Carpet and floor is so dirty and grimy, I can bet it's not been cleaned in over a year. Lights broken. Main door was loose. The final blow was that the shower drain wasn't working and the water backed up until the tub line. Absolutely disgusting. That led to a room change -- exact same set of problems. Staff really don't care. Cherry on top: went to breakfast with kid @ 9:00 am -- CLOSED. Supposed to be open until 10 as it was a weekend. Try explaining a hungry toddler to wait another 30 mins for food. Staff really didn't care. Felt like Expedia ratings and score was marketed. Wouldn't recommend staying here. Especially for families with kids. DON'T

Many items on the property and in the room were in need of repair. The pool and hot tub were out of service. The trash in our kitchen had not been emptied. The shower had pieces of hair along the walls. The bathroom door was split at the bottom and was unable to close, however, staff was very friendly and helpful.
