Homewood Suites by Hilton Cleveland-Beachwood

Upon first arriving, lobby smells great but it’s too strong. Person who stayed before us broke something in the shower so we couldn’t use it. They told us at check in and didn’t do anything for the inconvenience. The beds were so uncomfortable. They were super soft with no support. When I sat down I thought I was going to land on the floor. Pool and hot tub were really nice except pool had a lot of hair floating around. Breakfast was good for the most part but the scrambled eggs were really rubbery. The room we got was perfect for the amount of people we had. We had a suite that had a main room with a kitchen and two attached bedrooms. We would probably stay here again for that aspect but I don’t think I would recommend it. The restaurant across the street (winking lizard) is SO good.

Yes I know there is elevator at the other end of the building but few people will use it because of its location.

Perfect for a stay while travelling to our ultimate destination .

Apon 4pm check-in the room was not ready we were told we had to wait 45minutes. When finally being able to complete check-in the room was filthy. Food containers left in the fridge, crumbs of food on the floor, multiple stains on blankets & pull out mattress. The bathtub was badly stained & striped/peeling we were told a bath mat would be delivered that did not ever arrive. Phone did not work anything we needed we had to travel down to the front desk from the 6th floor which attendants weren’t much help & took quit some time for things to be delivered. Morning breakfast was in the dark due to power being out. Terrible stay.

Great place to stay

Everything was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The suite was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great too. I would stay here again.

The room was dirty upon arrival. They attempted to clean the next day after I submitted a negative review- which wasn't exhaustive of all the issues with the room. When I went back to inspect the work, the bed was made but someone else's hairs were still affixed to the bathroom mirror and shampoo bottles. And they left more cleaning wipes for me to clean myself. If you have to leave cleaning wipes because of cleanliness complaints- you need to improve housekeeping.

Was our go to whenever we visited Cleveland in Beachwood. The property use to be very clean. Now our room was not that clean. Sheets were coming off the bed, tables were on their last leg, stains on curtains, hallways didnt smell clean. We will be finding a new hotel to stay.

It was very clean and a quiet stay. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety to choose from. The staff was very polite and helpful. Would stay again Nothing really, my short stay there was really good. I just wished I was able to stay longer to check it out more.

Exceptional

A/C in our room did not work very well

The room felt like it could use a bit of a refresh of the carpet and bathroom, but was spacious and included the ability to use Netflix on the TVs which was lovely. The pool and hot tub were great, as well as the outside patio area and breakfast. The gym was a bit small.

Great location when we came to town for the Ohio Derby. Close to Thistledown horse track as well as restaurants. Right off the interstate too!
