It was a very convenient overnight stay on our way to San Antonio. It was right off of I-10, was inexpensive, and had several restaurants right by it.

The clerk who checked me in demanded a 250.00 damage deposit for room damage. the room was very plain without even a coffee maker, really nothing to damage at all. One towel for the bathroom. Very upset I had to pay this charge, if I could have cancelled the room I would have, but since I pre-paid thru Hotels.com or Expedia I knew a refund was about impossible to get. I left early before breakfast and had to ask if any coffee was ready in the lobby. It didn't look like the breakfast area held any promise of anything to eat anyway. I made sure the clerk inspected the room before I left to verify it was not damaged. I will not stay there again and look for the fine print for deposit info before I pay for any room again thru Expedia or Hotels.com.
