Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Midway

Very good

Breakfast was a snack. Bed was horrible. Hotel is tired to the point of exhaustion and needs gutted and rehabbed.

Grab and go was bad The room had four lamps in it but only one worked. Bed was hard pillows were flat as a pancake. Very uncomfortable.

I loved how accommodating Extended Stay America was. I was called shortly after I checked in to be checked on. I appreciated that. I told her everything was good but I had a light issue where lights were not coming on on one side of the room. The hostess told me to reset the breaker in the room. I did that and it worked. I later shared with the front desk that the circuit breaker switches the lights off every time I turned the bathroom light off. Jennifer was unable to change my room but told me to come back later when she speaks to the manager. When I came back down Jennifer and Ashley were able to only charge me one nights' stay instead of two for the inconvenience. I was so grateful. It was my birthday weekend and I wanted to relax and rest. Thank you Extended Stay America! Unique Except the shortage of lights, everything was great.

I would not personally stay at this hotel again. My fiancé and I had never been at this chain of hotels and were fine with the amenities offered even though we didn’t use a majority of it and weren’t staying for long. The hotel was within our means but we were shocked by the door to our room not locking all of the way when leaving. We were able to open it without our key card and had to shut it several times before it was wedged closed. The continental breakfast was meager. It offered muffins and coffee and instant oatmeal in a cupboard at the front desk when you walk in. For as much as I was paying I at least thought we would get eggs and bacon. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

Room was kinda dirty with stains on the lamp shades. When you walked into the hotel it smelled like someone was smoking weed all the time. We would shut the light off by the door coming into the room and it would trip the breaker for everything.

Beware. This is a hotel for the down and out.

Staff was rude the key didn’t work and it took staff a hour to open the door I eventually left without staying the room had nets flying “A LOT OF NETS” the tub had yellow rings and toilet had old urin in it I want my money back I didn’t even stay for an hour it smelled like mildew strong mildew
