Dear Management, I want to express my serious concerns about my recent experience at your Bessemer, AL location. Unfortunately, I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe during my stay, which led me to leave not long after check-in. - Upon entering the hotel, the strong smell of marijuana was noticeable and noticeable on the floor in my room, which contributed to the uncomfortable environment. The hallways had bags of trash in the hallways. - My middle school-age son was followed when he returned the luggage cart to the point he RAN outside the building. This was VERY alarming & made me feel unsafe to the point that I left. - I reported this incident after I left, and I was told no refunds could be issued. The hotel has not been in contact with me since. - The customer service I received when checking in & reporting these issues was unsatisfactory, leaving me feeling unsupported and concerned for my safety. Due to these circumstances, I had to find and pay for a different hotel in another city, incurring additional expenses and inconvenience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and review your safety and customer service protocols to ensure future guests do not experience similar issues.

Rooms were clean—cleaning ladies were very nice—breakfast lady was very welcoming—we were there for a baseball tournament and the staff kept wishing us good luck and praying for our team (we ended up winning the tournament!) only thing I would add is more washer and dryers (at least one more set!)

It was very clean and the room was in excellent condition. The breakfast was a bit old tasting and when we went to eat it was only 6:04am so it had just started. But besides hard scrambled eggs, everything else was amazing and just right.

We booked a room for 4 adults and one child and the reservation said there were multiple beds that would accommodate all five of us. Upon arrival we were told that there are no rooms on the property that had more than two beds…and they have no roll away beds or rooms with sleep sofas. So our child had to sleep on the floor. Why would you allow a party of five to book a “suite” if it cannot accommodate them?

That we had two smart TVs for the children...and the bathroom was spacious. They didn't make up the sofa bed and was frugal on toilet paper...the toilet paper was very thin and small. And if we need anything we had to go to the front desk because they didn't deliver to your room

Upon arrival, we were checked into a room and our key cards worked without issue. However, in the middle of the night, a stranger entered our room and quickly left. This was extremely alarming, especially since we were traveling with a child. No guest should ever have to experience something like this. The following morning, our key cards suddenly stopped working. When we went to the front desk, we were told that they had accidentally given us the wrong room from the start. This means another guest was also given access to the same room, which explains the intrusion. This is a major security failure. In addition to this, the room above us was excessively loud, with constant stomping and noise late into the night, making it impossible to rest. We attempted multiple times to have a manager contact us about these issues, but despite three requests, we never received a call back. The lack of response and accountability only made the situation worse. We did not feel safe during our stay, and the hotel has refused to issue any refund despite the severity of these issues. Overall, this was an unacceptable and unsettling experience. Safety, basic customer service, and accountability were all lacking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.

Did not get the room I paid for. Paid for room with sofa bed and got one without. Made it work but disappointing. Also, front desk tried charging me again for room even though I had already paid through Hotels.com Hotel was fine other than that.
