When we walked in the front door the desk clerk was very helpful and kind. A big smile always goes a long way. We will definitely be back soon. Oh to us the rooms were cozy and great beds 😁. Thank you for a great stay.

The room was dead bolted from the outside and I wasn’t told that I needed to go through the hallway first in order to be able to access the room from the courtyard. The hotel is very outdated but clean. It kind of adds to the “charm” in a way but some people might not like that.

The staff were very helpful, courteous, friendly and professional. However, the heating system was such that there could only be air conditioning in the entire building, or heat, but there couldn't be heat in one room and AC in another. Because of a medical condition, I needed to have the heater on, but couldn't. The staff readily provided an additional blanket for me.

We enjoyed our stay in this historical hotel room was clean and Staff was friendly.

The quintessential old-time motor lodge. Lots of character. There is an $8 charge if you want breakfast in the adjacent restaurant...but...the portions are HUGE and delicious. No pool or hot tub but easy walking to all of Billings downtown. Absolutely phenomenal staff! Definitely staying again.

For the price, this is a great option. Location is great, rooms are clean, and staff is nice.. little older, but well maintained. Didn't get to do the discounted breakfast due to work, but it's a great perk.

I needed a place to stay in Billings, Montana for 1 night before an early morning flight. My main objective was to find a descent place close to Logan Airport. The Dude Rancher Lodge met my requirements and looked like a fun place. I was very pleased with the room and the property. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. I got a great nights sleep before flying out.

We were in town for a concert at the Billings Skate Park. The walk was easy from the hotel. We only stayed one night. My only complaint is the outlets in the room would not charge our electronics. We tried multiple chargers in all wall outlets. The only place we could get them to work is in the bathroom. We stayed in room 218. The common area and restaurant were uncomfortable places to pass time while my family slept in. I would stay there again.

Great staff and very helpful with our special requests. We were able to upgrade to a one bed room and have the lower floor which we needed for accessibility. Very accommodating on all the requests we made. Love that love that they have mugs and real glasses in the room. Everything was neat and tidy and well cared for and we even got a Jacuzzi tub that was not expected! It’s an older, very charming building, but very well cared for. Thanks for an excellent day! We will definitely try to come in again if we’re ever on a route that takes us through billings. Thanks so Much

Perfect location. The room was not as nice as I expected. However, the ranch vibe was really outstanding.

Sketchy part of town, hairball left on the shower wall from previous occupant, dirty older carpet. Linens seemed clean.

The hospitality there was incredible and accommodating. When my flight into town was cancelled by a day, they still kept my reservation after calling them to ensure I could check in and use it for the remainder of the time. The rooms are also extremely clean, quaint, and easy to access. Others staying down the street at a big name chain hotel were complaining nonstop about the smell and service, but not at the Dude Rancher! Only criticism I have.....I'm 6'3" and the shower head was at my chin so it was a bit tricky to shower and not splash water everywhere.
