Very good

Economical and comfortable. That the beds are double beds and not queen, but they were comfy.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I checked out too early for breakfast so don’t have any comments regarding that. The room was clean and comfortable.

Very nice staff, an older hotel but remodeled and very clean and new looking. Great shower. close to city amenities.

Location, walking to dinner

A place with personality, not your typical cookie-cutter chain hotel! Check-in was smooth and the person that helped us was efficient and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. Having a door on each end of the room is a bit odd, and parking is a bit limited. At first we thought it might be noisy, but wasn't. We slept well. Since it's downtown, there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. We felt comfortable walking around in the evening and again in the morning. Seemed to be a good value for the Billings area.

Exceptional

The only negative is that you can't control the air conditioning. Other than that the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was very good for 8 dollars and the staff was very nice.

Only needed a room for about 10 hours to catch an early morning flight so didnt utilize the property in its full potential. It was outdated, but I kind of liked it. It suited the purpose in which I needed. Staff was friendly, parking in the parking area was tight, but fine. Would stay again.

A little rough around the edges, but everything worked and nothing smelled lousy. Liked the central location, plenty of walkable food and entertainment options. Skipped the breakfast but had a decent lunch in the hotel restaurant. I'd stay there again if I ever end up in Billings.

The look of hotel was neat .. The carpet was dirty and sheets had stains on them. Also there was screaming and fighting half the night in the courtyard and no staff stopped it. Will not recommend to stay there.

Very friendly and helpful staff at a great location. The Lodge was a throwback to how we use to travel as kids. The a/c unit was noisy but worked well.

The restrooms were very clean with showers to die for! They were so wonderful that we didn't want to get out of the showers! The bed was also very clean and comfortable! The rooms were very quiet as well, even though the motel is in a somewhat busy downtown area. The dude rancher Café on the property was excellent with unique offerings such as "sunshine light" for breakfast which is a unique and tasty blend of scrambled eggs and cream cheese -- a house specialty since 1949! It sounds quite different, but give it a chance and you'll love it! There was quick and easy access to any part of Billings from this centrally located motel. Next time we come to town, it is definitely dude rancher for us!!!
