Wonderful stay, really enjoy!

This historic hotel is a definite must if you are staying in Billings! It has cozy and clean rooms, friendly staff and great amenities! That hotel has a rich history that is worth looking up. If staying here do not pass up the cook to order breakfast, and/or dining here you will not be disappointed.

Although older, the DRL was located in downtown, close to many shopping stores and restaurants. Unfortunately, there were quite a few homeless, aggressive people within the neighboring blocks that would have been fine if they hadn’t been…aggressive. The place was very clean, the room cute and comfy. The front desk attendants were very friendly and polite. The only issue we had at all with the DRL was the breakfast. The server seemed to be tweaking HARD. Her mouth and jaw were moving non stop and she wiped her nose several times and then brought out food without washing her hands. I watched her wiping her nose once at a table taking an order, and pocket her tissue. Two separate couples left after waiting for a clean table—our old server had disappeared twice for several minutes. It was an extremely disappointing, not to mention disgusting, end to our stay. Aside from the breakfast experience, everything else was great. Don’t eat there and you’ll be happy.

Clean rooms and very friendly staff.

The room was exactly what we needed for a one night stop in Billings! Two weird things about the room we stayed in, the AC was set to 50°F so it was freezing when we walked in (this was easy to adjust though), and all the light bulbs were a harsh white which made everything look ugly. Other those small things that the stay was great! Easy parking and great breakfast for $8/person

AC makes a horribly loud noise when turning on. Woke me up 100 times. There were also two cops banging on the room across from me at one point. Avoid this place.

It was a great experience. I will definitely be staying there again the next time I’m in town.

Room was clean and comfortable but short a pillow which i called and got another pillow

~ Hats off to you sir!!! ~ I appreciate your kindness! We will Definitely be back! This location is over 80 years old and super cute themed! Even the Keys are real and Metal and not a random key card! The name fits it's personality. I love the personal touches right down to the note cards you leave for us to help you with repairs... "Bunkhouse Bob will fix it all!" Love that! Made me felt heard! ---> And I was! <--- You guys are great! This is why you are still open after 80+ years! Keep up the great work! Your staff is great too! I will be back someday!

The hotel was charming in a central location. Not modern but clean and comfortable.

Staff was friendly and helpful

When looking for a last minute hotel room with multiple pets, this was the place to be! So very quiet. Could use some updating, however, as stated before, this was a last minute reservation. I would definitely recommend especially if you have pets. Excellent service! Easy parking!
