Shuttle drivers were amazing. Front desk amazing. Great Bar and great diner. Close to a ton of stuff downtown. Free airport shuttle was awesome.

It's always so nice staying at The Northern - the staff are always smiling and kind, and very professional. The rooms are very clean, and they have everything you'll need. I love Bernie's Diner for breakfast - such a great spot in downtown Billings!

Location No coffee in room! No refrigerator! Had to go to lobby to get coffee! The toilet system was very poor. Had to call maintenance to unplug toilet! Had to change rooms.

Also very poor service at the hotel (Ten) bar. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes (only 4 people at the bar) and the bartender persisted on telling childhood stories to a nearby couple without even looking at me to ask for an order so I left.

Great place to stay for being in downtown Billings. Walkable neighborhood. The parking garage to hotel transition did not go smoothly. Half a staircase with a suitcase when I got lost.

We don’t usually make reservations in 5 star hotels, however, we were in town for the Blue Angels air show and thought we’d make it a special weekend. We weren’t disappointed. The Northern, built in 1902, will be celebrating their 125th anniversary next year and the hotel looks the part. Every staff member we encountered was cordial and welcoming. The king bed in our room was comfortable with a choice of pillows which allowed each of us to find one to suit our preference. The complimentary morning coffee (available by the front desk) was delicious! On top of everything, the Blue Angels pilots and support crew were also guests of the Northern for the weekend.
