Northern Hotel

I wouldn’t recommend eating at the diner in the hotel.

Park in garage on 2nd level and walk across on West side to hotel without going down to street level. Room needs a microwave and fridge. Then pay $5 for each bottle of water.

Great stay. Everything was clean and organized. Sraf were attentive and helpful

Very comfortable room. Free parking. “Ten” restaurant has a great choice on its dining menu. Very good mousse au chocolat. Recommend this hotel in downtown Billings, MT.

Hotel is amazing, not our first time staying there, front desk staff is more than accommodating and the location is great for downtown access. Unfortunately we had a room with views of the street, and the noise level on the lower floors made it diff to get a quality night of sleep.

Easy check in. Value seen in preferred parking.

What a great staff. My wife left something in the room and when we returned four days later, it was there waiting for her. Just warm, incredibly nice people. Hotel itself was excellent and ideally located for restaurants. Couldn’t recommend the Northern any higher.

Everything was great except the food at Bernie's diner

Traveling for business I ended up staying a night here. The history in this building is astounding & humbling at the same time. The room was clean, the parking garage was handy. My frustration with this establishment is for two reasons...one being, the bartender was ridiculously rude, & I was the only customer that was in there. She acted as if it was beneath her to serve me a drink to take to the room. The second frustration is that my account was charged for two rooms, and two incidental fees. I was there for one night, in one room, & left early the next morning. After reaching out to the hotel the overcharges still haven't been resolved. Basically was told "I only see a charge under your name once." Sooooo, if you don't mind having an additional $225+ taken from your account by all means stay here, while you're at it grab a drink in the lounge from a blonde gal who will treat you like garbage.

My daughter stayed during lay overs for a paleontology dig and said it was luxurious, professional and comfortable very helpful for making connections for her flights

Lovely historic hotel. Free garage parking a plus. Complimentary airport shuttle was wonderful. Staff and housekeeping top notched!

The hotel was clean, beautifully decorated, and the food at Ten was amazing. Staff were very nice and excellent service.

Located in city center. Convenient to nightlife and Sat market. Excellent restaurants and bar on site. Staff extremely friendly and service oriented. Spacious, confortable room and best linens.

Really liked how convenient it was to get to all the downtown restaurants and breweries.
