Excellent location and good for the money

The room was disgusting! #114 The lighting was poor especially in the bathroom, no top lock on the door, black coloring on the ceiling, the plastic on the box springs looked like they had been in there for years, the air from the air conditioner had a smell to it. I will definitely never stay here again!!

Got to the hotel it was double booked so we end up with the wrong room had to let my buddy have the bed I stayed in the chair then on top of that the room was trashed there was holes in the walls and the bath tub wifi did not work so it was the worst I have ever stayed in

Surprised it was very clean

Great location across from beach and Sharkheads.

Was ok

While the Star Inn is an older hotel and could use some updating, it was clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Didn't try the pool or the breakfast (we slept in after a late night of 4th of July fireworks!) Desk personnel were nice and helpful. It is located across the street from Sharkheads as well as the beach. Would stay there again if the need called for it

The downs: the light in our bathroom took 10 minutes to come on and the shower kept going cold. And unless you're under 5' tall you're gonna be ducking under the shower head. The pool was inviting but the water was cloudy like it needed chemicals. And there were people who weren't staying at the motel parking there and coming in the pool. All in all we'd stay there again for a quick weekend beach trip.

Horrible experience. Of course non-refundable, but it doesn’t matter. We checked in, went and ate. When we came back and got a good look at the place, we left. Super noisy, lots of odd people around my car. It wasn’t very clean either, I could not have stayed any longer. We left, saying good-bye to my pre payment. They DID give me back my $20 cash deposit…………… Never again.

Old motel the only thing new was the floors that was dirty. The room had a strong musty odor. The pool is definitely not clear as in the picture, very cloudy couldn't see your feet. The breakfast area had seating for only eight people with well over 230 rooms occupied. Box spring still had the plastic on them. Bedspread had cigarette holes in them we reserved a non smoking room. Had no other option but to stay here because of Fourth of July weekend

Older property, , could usd an update.. was clean, pool good, walkable to restaurants and beach boardwalk.. breakfast good for toast and coffee, u coins do waffles.. I would stay here again..

Have stayed here in the past. Older motel but located well, right across from the beach. Staff is nice. Rooms are somewhat rundown, but for the price you pay, it is what you should expect. If you are looking for something with lots of extras, this is not the place for you. But if you need a cheap place to sleep, then this is a good choice.

Clean safe great location

I would not stay there again it needs repairs very badly

Location Roaches! Black mold on furniture, mattress, pillows, walls, ceiling. Strong mold smell when you walk in. Hair on sheets, cover, floors. Dirty towels

Nothing to like. Rooms stunk so bad. Everything felt sticky. And our bed made a noise like someone was beating a metal trash can under our bed. They have extended staying guest and they do not offer any kind of security. There weretwo differentcars being workedon in parkinglot with peoplesittingoutsideon curbs lookinghomeless. We had paid for 2 nights but we left after 20 minutes in the room and I actually spent that time trying to Google how to get out of there and where should I go to get far away from there. I was afraid to walk back out to our car. I felt extremely unsafe and was thankful that we didn't get robbed. The room was the worst I've ever seen. Btw, I do smoke.. these are smoking rooms. The rooms smelt so old, moldy and just pure funk with tons of strong brut and butt. Nothing

Location Beds were not comfortable rooms had an odd smell
-
I always stay there close to everything and can walk across street to beach

The man at the desk asked for a 20 dollar "cash only" deposit.... I told him that the site said nothing about that and he quickly said "nevermind" I feel that they are just trying to pocket this cash for themselves. I will be reporting this to the proper authorities as well as the Better Business Bureau.

The only good thing about this place was the location. There were gaps between door and wall. Only one light source of room, and was not a continental breakfast, it was very limited..
