Beautiful space. Perfect location across from beach. Nice outside spaces. staff=excellent... so very friendly n helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Definitely better than the casinos or the chain hotels nearby, but missed opportunity for the hotel to stand out. I understand the historically aspect, but lots of minor details overlooked that take no effort to make better. Restaurant is subpar and highly overpriced and with limited options in the area, that was a big disappointment .

Charming hotel and beautiful grounds. Nice swimming pool. Good restaurant on site. Staff was friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows were provided to accommodate a picky sleeper. Overall, very pleasant. The window shades don't block the morning sun adequately. The furnishings are a bit sparse and no actual closet for hanging clothes. It is an old building and some things are unavoidable. I do wish real cups were provided for coffee, paper just seems less than. I like to hear the train that passes nearby, but just know it does come early.

Elegant traditional hotel that has been tastefully upgraded. If you love old houses, you’ll love this property. Excellent staff, plenty of parking, great amenities in a classy setting. Beautiful! Liked everything

Beware—the rooms listed on booking.com are NOT located at the historic White House Hotel!!! These rooms are in a completely different hotel built in 2023, located behind The White House on White Avenue. They call it their “expansion building” but it’s not an expansion. It is a whole different hotel that the same company owns. It isn’t connected to The White House in any way. Separate parking lot, separate building, separate entrance. It is a fully contained separate hotel and you never even have any reason to step foot inside the hotel you think you are paying for! I specifically booked what was listed as a HISTORIC and GULF FRONT hotel. At check in, I was told our rooms were in a whole different location that is NOT HISTORIC and NOT BEACHFRONT. My son is a history major and needed to stay at a historic hotel for a school project so I asked to be moved to The White House Hotel that I had booked and was rudely told NO bc I used booking.com. I even offered to pay extra and was told NO. See my Apple Maps screenshot taken inside our actual room and its distance from the real White House Hotel. The staff was very rude and treated me like I was low class bc I booked with a 3rd party. I spent nearly one thousand dollars for a school project that my son couldn’t even complete. We wasted a ton of money and time for no reason. This listing is fraudulent and should not be allowed!
