White House Hotel

Great place and we will be back.

We turned the thermostat as low as it would allow but the temp in the room never dropped below 73. This was too hot to sleep comfortably and I had wondered why I saw two people carrying in box fans. Though the AC couldn’t cool enough for us, it did provide water. My backpack was on the floor directly under the AC and during the night soaked all of my clothes and left probably half a gallon of water on the floor that I soaked up with the dirty towels. The very tiny soaps and shampoos were not enough for adults with hair. We wanted drinks to go sit in the beach so we went to the vending machines. A sign said that the cards did not work, so we were forced to use the ATM. The vending machines also did NOT take cash. Very annoying. The breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed that.

I rarely make comments about the hotels I stay at during my travels; however, the White House Hotel was excellent and far surpassed my expectations. So glad I took a chance and booked there rather than at the name-brand chains down the street.

Restaurant wasn’t open and wasn’t aware until arrival.

Gorgeous building, grounds, and view!!! Staff is excellent and they truly enjoy their jobs! We did have a fan (or heater) in the bathroom that was very noisy and the pool looked like it needed vacuuming. The food is great and the service in all areas excellent!

We loved our stay and will stay again in the near future. It is our new favorite for Biloxi.

The staff was courteous & helpful. Comfy bed and the AC sufficiently cooled the room. Loved the building - the front porch rockers, very nice lobby area, bar & restaurant. The food was very good! One suggestion is to improve the coffee… a bit weak, especially the set-up in the rooms for the cost of the stay.

The room would be described as spartan at best. We needed to book a double bed room so the only one available was a double standard. The room was barely big enough for the two beds. The only other furniture in the room was a padded bench, a desk with a desk chair and a nightstand. Could not find any place at the nightstand to plug in a phone charger so had to do that down the wall. TV was mounted on the wall. No menu button on the TV remote or any printed TV channels, so it was hard to find stations. The window only had a blackout shade on it with no curtains so it was all or nothing on any light from outside. Kind of prison-like. The AC was almost as loud as a jet when running and when it turned off it

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the White Houston hotel. It was clean,staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent!

Very nice hotel and staff. The rooms did not have fridges which we missed.The ice machine was only on the first floor. The pool was old but very nice temperature and plenty of umbrellas and chairs. The food at the hotel was delicious.

Lady you just spent 20 minutes finding the other person a room but can’t be bothered to help me out? Ok. Go to the bar, come back at 3:45. Still no room! That’s unreasonable. Now she’s just being rude. So we bring all of our stuff to our friends room who was able to check in at 2:30 and go to the pool. Finally have our room by 5:30 and have to move all of our stuff again. The campus is beautiful, great location. The bar makes great drinks, especially the King Kong. And the pool is great. We would stay here again but the staff could use some training.

Nice weekend getaway.

The hotel was very nice, but the king room was very small and did not include amenities most places would have included (i.e. mini fridge, microwave). Our room needed a little TLC, but the bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful property and amazing lobby. Quiet room area as well!

The room was small but beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The bathroom featured a spacious shower, and the water pressure was better than expected. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and the front porch offers a peaceful view of the beach. It was the perfect place to relax, with rocking chairs and plenty of comfortable seating. The pool area could use a little attention, as there appeared to be some mold or algae on the concrete around the edges. However, the lounging area was very inviting, with umbrellas, lounge chairs, and comfortable patio furniture. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The atmosphere was relaxing, the property was charming, and we would definitely stay here again. We look forward to coming back.
