Drury Inn & Suites Birmingham Lakeshore Drive

Great staff and overall good experience. Property is a little older but still very nice.

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful...check in, housekeeping, kitchen, bartender. Delicious light evening meal and drinks were included. Delicious breakfast with the best biscuits. I even had to find out who they were by.

Right off the highway- easy in/out. Fun spot, full of families and comfortable to stay with our dog.

Check in was horrible. Room was nice no complaints there. We were woke up suddenly at 6:30am to an internet alarm( they guarantee a good nights sleep). At check out we were told that we would be contacted for things to be corrected via email and never received anything.

I have traveled to so many hotels across the country and by far this was the best one I have been to. The staff truly made me feel welcome and appreciated. The amenities were amazing, property is very clean, the room was amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this place!

All was good except for our bathroom fan wasnt working and theres no air in the front living room area.

the breakfast was phenomenal. Also, the 5:30 "winedown" was an added bonus.

Stayed when pool/hot tub was out of order. Would be nice if gym was more robust. Otherwise excellent stay. Would stay at a Drury every time where possible.

Excellent staff and stay

Obviously the perks of the drury is the food. For a longer stay (we were there 8 nights) I wish the hotel staff would consider; oh let’s not put these people in an adjoining room, or maybe they’d like to be closer to the amenities. One elevator was broken during our stay and it made it annoying to wait quite awhile with kids. The bar staff was always very lovely. Housekeeping was good and the rooms felt clean.

The staff was amazing! They were friendly and very patient to travelers who were not too nice to them!! Maps took us on an out of the way route to get to the hotel (horrible traffic due to road construction), but once we got there we found a beautiful and very clean room. There are several places to eat nearby & within walking distance if you don’t want to stick around for the kick-backs’ (which was very popular and the lobby/dining area was full). We took our complimentary drinks to our room and slept on a very comfy bed! Nice job Birmingham staff!!

Room was not ready at check in time....after a couple hours they provided a suite. We had requested two beds, so the suite had one bed and a sofa bed. Nice room but the sofa bed was not comfortable.

We had a very large clean room. Excellent staff! Everyone at the front desk is excellent and the breakfast staff is wonderful! Wonderful room cleaning staff! Excellent stay

Breakfast was great

Staff was very professional and courteous. Room was clean. It would have been nice to have free water. Breakfast was good. Would have been great to have some bacon or ham. I don't eat sausage. I will stay there again.

The 530pm kick back was awesome they included 3 alcoholic drinks per adult plus the food was a money saver and convenient. The area was very centric for our baseball tournaments.
