Hampton Inn Birmingham I-65/Lakeshore Drive

Location is great.

Good variety of snacks/wine/etc in the lobby. No WiFi or TV available for about 5 hours, A/C didn’t cool the room well, kitchen area dirty, toilet brush left on floor of elevator, only one elevator was working (other was broken), serving dishes at breakfast were broken and didn’t keep food warm (cold eggs, etc, for breakfast ), lots of unidentified sticky stuff on the back of the door to our room.

Great location. Hotel was quiet. Safe area. Only issue was elevator out of service. Bed was very comfortable.

I like the space. I didn't like that the elevators were so slow that my husband and I had to take the stairs.

I stayed at this Hampton Inn in Birmingham @Lakeshore and it was so amazing. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and assisted me with everything. I was so amazed!! Big thanks to front desk desk, Faith. Tremendous help to me I arrived ar night and was alone. Big shoutout to the lady who worked breakfast 11/16 - she helped me find more honey. This location is amazing. I will b back soon!! My daughter will b attending samford and I have chosen my go to hotel- Hampton Inn lakeshore drive/I65!

The woman who checked us in was so polite and very helpful! Good breakfast too! Everything was fine!

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. The elevators were increasingly slower over or two days stay and our last ride in the elevator resulted in us being stuck for 5 to 6 minutes.

The highway noise was loud. When they offered earplugs and other sleep tools at check in I asked if it was noisy. I was told no~ we’ve never had a complaint. There is no way~ the highway is loud. We had a sound machine on all night and could still hear it.

Clean and comfortable room. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Located near shops and restaurants. Wonderful stay.

Location Asked for housekeeping services but never received them.
