Convenient access to Samford during parents weekend Facilities are dated, tile floors in bedroom feels stark/clinical, pillows and bedding flimsy, the system to create room keys was down when I checked in so I had to wait 15 minutes before I was finally able to get keys to my room

Receptionist was outstanding at check in!! Friendly and helpful. Room was decent, pillows were not great. Bathroom updated and nice. Breakfast food ok. The smoking outside the entrance is AWFUL!!!! The smoke enters your lobby, it's a haze. Benches outside your door for everyone to congregate and smoke is terrible. I asked for a back side room, due to traffic noise. It was still terribly noisy. With earplugs at the checking, you obviously know this is a problem. Several guests were using their phones for work conference calls of which was hard to talk when their calls were blaring. One person was watching Utube videos on full blast!! Not a great atmosphere for sure.

Staff was very nice and pleasant especially Brenda at front desk. Facility was very clean and up to date, parking was great and breakfast was so good. Loved it. Could have used at least one more chair in room.

There are not enough people at front desk. During checking, we had to w additional got for 10 min to see the person at front desk, no one there. The one person there t asking card if some other maintenance problem at facility. When we needed towels, front desk person asked us to come down to front desk and pickup towels.
