We did not they were remodeling. We can overlook that but front desk staff was uninterested in helping. We weren’t the only ones in the lobby frustrated with lack of help. For what we paid, still a terrible value and experience.

Side note, this was the first room I’ve ever booked that didn’t have an alarm clock in it, or even a lamp. The ‘breakfast buffet’ was closed and we were offered a ‘bag breakfast’ instead. No thanks. Our bathroom had multiple long hairs on the floor and wall, and the hot water ran so hot that could easily cause a severe burn. It shouldn’t be a scary experience for my kids to wash their hands in the bathroom. Our room was covered in drywall dust, and the lobby and hallways were in horrendous shape. They couldn’t pay me $100 to stay here again, and I can’t believe I spent $150+ to have the worst hotel stay of my life. We checked in too late to have any other options, so learn from me and the countless other reviewers- stay somewhere, ANYWHERE, but here.

It appeared our room was renovated with finishing touches nit complete. It was also a tight fit for 2 queen beds & the table & 2 chairs. No attempt seemed to be made to control the dust & debris. I have been in other locations where renovations were being made & plastic sheets were being used in an attempt to lessen dirt & debris.

They put us on a floor under construction

This property continues to be renovated. The lobby was unusable except for the check in desk and coffee pots in a corner. A bagged breakfast was provided. The renovated room was clean and adequate. They are having a hard time keeping the hotel clean during renovation. No notice was given when booking the room.

This was a great place. I would definitely stay here again. Oliver was helpful & friendly at check in. Very clean & quiet. Thank you for a 5 🌟 stay!!

The online depiction of the hotel is fraudulent. It is undergoing construction/renovation. The lobby is full of tarps and plastic sheeting. There are building supplies in the hallway and sheetrock going up. Flooring is being put in. Baseboards are torn off. There are no breakfast, business or gym facilities. The breakfast offered was a breakfast sandwich in a paper bag. The parking area is full of discarded furniture, broken lumber and trash.

The property was being renovated. That was not disclosed at all. The foyer was covered in dust from the construction. You could feel it under your shoes. The coffee pots, counter and any other surfaces were grimy. The rooms were not what I had reserved. There was no breakfast with the exception of a bag. I was there on business and our plan was to meet both mornings over breakfast before starting the day. I booked this hotel based on the Hampton reputation. I have stayed at Hampton many times in the past and this experience was not at all what I expected. We were given a refund after arguing with the front desk for about 30 minutes. The manager was not there and the sweet lady at the desk was doing her very best. I was very disappointed in the service and the property.

Well. The ac was great. Under construction. Breakfast was a bagged thing. . Not good. . Always walking through drywall dust etc. Should have been told about the construction before check in. . Parking was difficult. We paid for 2 nights left at 6pm on before 2nd night.

Nothing Workers there all hours kept exterior doors propped open, old, dirty , under construction, bathroom no shampoo or soap, phone no cord, one towel that I’m pretty sure was dirty, hair on walls in shower and bathroom, mold, ac barely worked, no breakfast just gross
-
Location to downtown and staff were nice but overwhelmed with the active construction going on No ice or breakfast and there’s no place near for reasonable priced breakfast. So had to go to my Dr. appointment hungry.

First of all, if you’re gonna charge regular price, then you should make sure you’re not under construction for a refresh . At the very least, let your client know hey you’re gonna get this rate but it’s because we have gutted the lobby in the breakfast area so there really isn’t a breakfast. The coffee station was horrible. There’s one cup. It wasn’t maintained. It was dirty if I had known that I would’ve gone to the Hilton app got the Embassy suites for $130 instead of the $120 I paid for a nasty, not up to my standards Hampton Inn at all . I know they are trying fix it back up, I didn’t know with open doors everywhere etc what would come around corner. Never going back to that location.

The employees were very nice and the room was a nice size. The hotel is under construction there’s dirt and dust everywhere. There was a scaffolding right outside my window and there’s been no breakfast there since May 25. That’s one of the reasons why I picked Hampton Inn because my husband likes to get up early in the morning and get breakfast. The coffee was terrible.

Nice people Renovation
-
Location It was under renovation and from the enteance to the elevators it was a mess and dirty. We should have been notified on booking that it was under reno. We had to stay 3 days and even though we asked for towels etc on 2nd day we still had to find housekeeper and get our own. Dirty towels never picked up

under construction and no breakfast. that should be disclosed. sad.

The whole hotel is under construction. We were not made aware of this until check in. Couldn’t use the pool, no breakfast, keys to room didn’t work most of the time, room smelled of paint, windows were still taped off and covered, shower doors didn’t stay closed, shampoo literally just sat on the floor of shower because they had to fixture to put them on. The lobby, first floor and 2nd floor were all being worked on - workers everywhere and noises being made. I never would have stayed here if I had known they were working on it. SO disappointed. The hotel lobby employee had to let us in our room 3 times because the locks didn’t work due to “new upgrades”. Workers were very nice but that was the only plus. Should have received a credit/refund for their lack of honesty about the construction.

I always look for Hampton Inns for my overnight stays. Breakfast is always good and rooms are super clean. This location was so convenient to downtown so our event was easy to get to ! Will be back !

Property was under construction. I would have to give them a pass.
