We loved our stay
-
We stayed for one night at the Kelly. It was a decent experience for the price but nothing was exceptional. The property could be better maintained (out lightbulbs, dirty carpet, worn walls, loose outlets) and the cleanliness was average. Nothing felt extremely dirty but the cups in our room still had lipstick marks on them. Overall average hotel stay. The staff was very helpful on our arrival. Shout out to our valet Mike!

From check in to check out this property was pristine.
-
Everything was AWESOME! Even valet
-
Room was clean. They accommodated an early check in. Staff were very friendly. Especially the front desk staff. Superior customer service!
-
The staff didn't know what a kettle is. The room TV wasn't working. Parking was $40/night, which is higher than expected (the whole night was under $200) The shower was broken; it works, but broken. It was a good stay, but I will probably go for another option my next time around.

Great location and friendly staff!
-
The staff was wonderful… valet to front desk were all extremely friendly. The room was clean but could use a more detailed eye with cleaning like in between bed and nightstands. The problem I had was the amount of noise you can hear from outside- like screaming people and loud cars. We were on the 5th floor: It needs some kind of way to sound proof. Breakfast was basic

Location was great, room was clean, staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, valet is the only parking available and you must park on street (no driveway). Room keys did not work despite multiple attempts. Room decor was nice, but lighting was dim. No fridge or microwave in room.
-
As a first time experience I can definitely say I will be returning to the Birmingham location more frequently . From the moment I walked through the door until checkout everything was amazing. The food was delicious and the bartender was so nice and friendly. I rate the staff 100/10. Beyond exceptional

Overall okay stay
-
Perfect hotel to stay at for attending an event at the arena. Very classy and historic. Rooms were very nice and spacious. Only complaint was the elevator issues but I think that was temporary.
-
A little noisy
-
Historic district was very cool; the area between the hotel and the concert venue was a little "sketchy" as we were told by the staff which was helpful in keeping us safe coming and going to the concert. The air conditioner had to be turned on....should have had this on a few hours before check-in to avoid us struggling with the equipment for enough time to start sweating in the middle of summer in the south
-
We particularly enjoyed how accommodating the staff was to our requests. We wanted extra towels and they immediately made that happen, our car was immediately greeted and unloaded by the valet, making check-in very smooth. Its central location to excellent dining was also a huge plus!
-
Very expensive stay for a subpar hotel. Staff are very hlepful.
-
The staff were actually very nice, except for the evening desk host. She was confrontational and rude to us when we were at the bar having a drink. The bartender and door men were very pleasant.

Hot water was not good

Staff was great. Location for us was good. We had a brief but really nice stay.
