Suburban Studios Minneapolis Bloomington

Room was very nice. Staff was friendly. Freezer was filthy. Nice to have a kitchenette but never had one at a hotel with no glasses, dishes, pans, utensils etc. I was smart enough to bring a pan but it wouldn’t work with the induction stovetop. It’s very conveniently located. Near the Mall of America with tons of stores nearby. It was very easy to get back from St. Paul every night with little to no traffic. Toilet barely worked…couldn’t get it to flush toilet paper or completely empty. The price was very low so it’s hard to complain too much.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed 1 night and demanded my money back and left. There room was dirty and we saw a roach and left

Only have me 2 towels for a king size bed not the most comfy bed, heater/air conditioner was very loud was very challenging to fall asleep, didn't have a drain stopper so I could bath.

Rarely anyone at the frint desk. Charged extra charge after not requiring the charge at the beginning. I only stayed one night even though I paid for 2. I just didn't want to be there anymore.

Staff was very courteous, the room was spacious. I've stayed there many times, and it is my go to place!

Every time i called for room service or needed something i had to go downstairs for it and they don’t even have water in there hotel. Asked the manager to provide some he said u’ll have to order from doordash or uber. And please don’t rely on food deliveries they take some much time to get in this area I don’t know why. But room and bathroom was nice and clean.

The hotel itself was under renovation while I was there, and staff was respectful and nice. The biggest negative for me was the smell from people smoking marijuana in their rooms or the smell of marijuana in the hallway. But it's like i said, "You get what you pay for." Other than that, it's a good hotel to stay at if you're on a budget.
