The Getaway Blowing Rock

The combination of a spotless property, comfortable accommodations, and an unbeatable location made our mountain getaway truly relaxing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Blowing Rock!

Clean, all the comforts of home and fabulous mattress! Location was excellent walkable to food and shops.

We loved the location. Restaurants and shopping were within walking distance. Our grandkids loved the park. The townhome was clean and comfortable. The little things like plenty of towels, nightlights in the bathrooms, and extra pillows made this stay stand out for me. I could do without the coffee table. It was heavy to move and it had to be moved to pull out the sofa bed each evening. This is not a deal breaker. I would still stay at the property again.

Location was great. Layout was nice. Bed was very comfortable. In general, a very nice, clean, and well located facility. We would definitely return. Some issues with ice-maker not making ice, upstairs bathroom door sticking. Dishwasher needed to be cleaned - inside. Some pre-disclosed issues with furniture. Some suggestions for improvement, places to hang towels in the bathroom are much needed; a hot plate in the kitchen and a keurig style coffee maker would make it perfect!

This is our third time at the Getaway and we love it. Close to downtown and very quiet!

Lovely townhome, very clean. Staff was very responsive and checkout so easy.

I did report the issue during my stay, but the disruption continued and did not feel meaningfully resolved.

Very clean unit. Great location. The hot water tank is very small. Would be nice to let guests know this ahead of time to plan accordingly.

Clean, comfortable, roomy and great location. Some noise from neighbors next door.

Location, cleanliness

Everything we needed for a short stay. Walkable to great food and nightlife! The room itself was very clean and excellent communication with property management.

And this isn't a knock on the property but a good note for families with TODDLERS! The bedroom is on the second floor and there's not a door you can close (the entire top floor is the bedroom)- so it was pretty stressful worrying my toddler would get up in the night and just fall down the stairs. But again- that's not a knock on the property, just something that would be great to know as a mom with small kids!

Great location and very quiet. Te rooms were clean and beautifully decorated Would be great if few more entertainment amenities were provided , coffee machine wasn’t working .

Close to town. We were able to walk to the festivities happing there. It was all great no complaint

This has been our favorite place to stay, thus far. The location is amazing and the home is absolutely wonderful. We will be coming back soon!
